Did you check your case on my.uscis.gov? Does it say just "Case was received'?

Yes, the minute I got the text message. It just says:

"On June 1, 2021, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number ###, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice."

That was super fast… less than a week

    Lets hope they’re speeding up

Me too, fingers crossed. I got a text this morning with my case number and letting me now form I-797 will follow by mail. The case number points to Potomac Service Center, so I'm already preparing myself for a long, long wait. I do hope they are speeding up their processing.

  3. Hey everyone! Seems like it was just yesterday when we filed for AOS. I woke up this morning to my CC charged so my anxiety has lowered a little LOL

    Here's my timeline:

    Delivered on: 6/1/21

I haven't received a text message yet, but hopefully I'll see a letter on my USPS Informed Delivery soon.

Just a quick question for those who have had their EAD's approved, have you found it updated on the new USCIS update site or the old one?

Also do you have dates for when your 'Fingerprint review was completed'? Because mine updated on the new site to show that my fingerprint review was completed on the 27th Nov?

I don't want to sit here with the hope that I'll get approved some time this week or next - it's killing me right now.

Mine only updated on this site:

    https://egov.uscis.gov/

Only the AED changed though, the AP and the AOS are still stuck on Case Received and Fingerprints Fee Received.

Nothing updated on this site: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Luckily we will be applying for an SSN next week with my wife's freshly printed GC so we won't really be in the same situation, but I do hope that you get it figured out. I had read those articles when I didn't know if we would have the SSN in time and was dreading the whole thing.

Congrats on the GC!!! Thanks, I think we might just wait for either the GC or the EAD as well. I have buried my nose in all tax forums and I just don't want to do more printing and forms for now.

That seems really strange, but the government often does strange things. Were you filing any foreign income or anything?

I know, right?? I thought it was going to be no problem since we already had the SSN. No, I have no foreign income and the last time I worked on that SSN was in 2017. Let me know if yours goes through, maybe we did something wrong, but turbotax is pretty self-explanatory.

    Also, have you read these?

Ok I see that's what it was, I put her new married name instead of her maiden name. Thank you, this should fix it. Much appreciated.

Literally did the same thing, filled first with my married name and then with my maiden name, both got rejected. I think there's no way to avoid the paper filing. I called de SSN office and they said since my number was connected to the working permit I had on the Q1 visa once the contract was over the SSN gets sort of frozen until connected to a new permit or GC. So even though I have had the SSN before and done taxes on in before it's still going to ring as inactive.

    Hello to all!

October filers here for AOS, EAD and Advanced parole.

    Filling from K1 visa.

Its been 90 or some days since my case was received, did my biometrics in November, some month after we filled.

Still no word from USCIS on any of these.

Did anyone here get their EAD and SSN, while on K1 visa, yet and how long did it take?

I filed on October 8th from K1 ang had my fingerprints in November as well. My status online is still stuck on "we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485". I'm hoping the EAD will appear in the mail soon, I'm not sure the status will ever change on the webpage until after. Has yours changed?

  9. Has anyone applying in Florida has gotten their AED yet? Today marks 102 days of hell for me...
