You need the I-864 for each of the children.   Look at what you submitted and make sure the total number of immigrants being sponsored is correct on the one that was rejected.    Also make sure the names and dates are correct.

The kids should be identical other than names and birthdates.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we submitted the I864 but they messaged us saying we need the I864W which is what makes us confused now. My son is not my biological child nor we have not processed legal adoption yet. He is coming with my wife because he is only 6. We tried calling NVC more than 20 times already and we cannot get a hold of anybody from there.  It's kinds frustrating.

  2. I have a question regarding the forms need to be submitted to NVC on petitioning wife and step kids.

We are on NVC stage now and I am getting lost in the process. We uploaded DS 260 and other documents to my step son's account last January 15, 2020 and on January 24, 2020 we got a mesaage saying all the supporting  documents uploaded for my step son are invalid except his civil documents. I really don't know what they want. I hope somebody has gone through this process and may be able to help us. Thank you.

  3. PLEASE HELP!

Do you guys have any idea or information on the process of bringing step kids in the US? I am bringing my wife to the U. S and she has two kids before we met. The kids are ages 6 and 8. We filed the petition and we are now on the NVC process. I petitioned for my wife and our kids basically. Now, we received an RFE few days ago in one child's account asking for I864W. I am now having a hard time with it because it seems like I864W is only needed if the child is biologically mine or is already adopted by me. He is my step son still because we have not processed the adoption yet cause in the Philippines it takes a long time to process. Any ideas on what documents should be submitted to NVC for step kids?? NVC's email is kinda complicated. Appreciate all the help.

I'm having the 'Runtime Error' issues since yesterday with CEAC website. I've tried it with 3 different devices, with chrome, safari, Firefox - and in incognito. all are giving me the Runtime Error when I try to attempt payment for AOS or IV. Very frustrating. I read there browser requirements and it notes that the site works with a 'variety of internet browsers' but is 'best' supported by Internet Explorer, which is really proving how they're keeping up with the times. I'm using all apple products at the moment and can't download IE-

I was curious if anyone within the last few days has been able to pay their fees and which browser they used?

You need to debug some things on their websites. Because there are certain bugs that's messing up with it. It's what my Dad did when we were filling out all forms. He figured it out because he is a computer genius. You can try doing the same thing too. I hope this helps.

    Ah such a common problem..

unfortunately their system suck... Took me over 30 attempts.. ultimately, I ended up doing it at the quietest time of internet usage 1am.. if you try during business hours etc it truely sucks.. keep at it.. your most definitely not alone with that problem....

not 100% about multiple applicants.. but someone here will be able to assist you I’m sure

OH Thank you for your reply. I was really frustrated and it sucks because really I want to finish this process before December ends. I will try doing the same thing you did. Thank you again.

  6. Hi, guys okay. I am new in this thread and really I need help regarding CEAC website. I'm getting frustrated about the process. So I was trying to fill out information in the DS 260 form. Everytime I fill out the page for the addresses I lived in since I turned 16 years old the page will refresh and won't let me continue doing it. I tried doing it 47 times to be exact and I got kicked out from the page. Did anybody here experienced the same thing?

Also I have a question regarding the documents need to be submitted online since we are also applying for my 2 kids.  Does anybody here doing the same process with us. Applying for a wife and step kids? I am really hoping to hear anything from you guys cause I am feeling lost. Imagine we started our process August 2018 and until now we are stuck in doing NVC process. HELP!!

  7. Hi guys, I need help really. We got approve August 31 and our papers was sent to NVC September 12 but since we were back and forth in our decision to continue in the process it took us almost a month to pay NVC to be able to upload the documents. But now it's been over a week that we paid and the money was taken from our account already however in the website it still say processing. It's so weird.  Is there anybody there experiencing the same thing or do you have any idea guys why this is happening. I hope to get help. Thank you.

Well, hehe it's just been only a week from the time we received our NoA2 mail. I just noticed though that most people in the NVC thread got their welcome letter 6 to 10 days from the date of their NoA2 so I am kind of hoping we will receive our welcome email soon. Good luck to us. Hope we will hear from NVC soon so we could start the next step.

We're on the same boat! How long have you been waiting now since your NOA2?

Congrats on your approval. There isn’t anything you can do or submit until you receive your case number from NVC. If you used lawyer for your petition, they usually will forward the case number to them via email/us mail. And they may copy you on it. It’s a hit and miss situation. We were approved on 8/1 and I started calling NVC 2 weeks after to inquire if case number has been generated. They received our petition on 8/16 but still no case number. Once you have a case number, you are able to login and then follow the instructions from there as to what documents are needed. It’s a bit different from a fiancé visa to an immigrant visa so I don’t want to give you wrong info.  Go to this board. There is very helpful information here.

Thank you, Dear for your reply. I noticed that you are very helpful and uplifting in this page.  I think I was just overly excited that's the reason why I was going "gaga". We just want to be together so badly cause we've waited for so long already. I really appreciate the help. Good luck to us. Hope soon we will be hearing from NVC

  10. Hi All, so we are now waiting for our papers to be forwarded to NVC. I've done my research already to be NVC ready and it seems like my comprehension isn't good. Cause I still feel stuck. Please help, guys.

I want to know what to do after you receive the NOA2 and what are the documents to be submitted to NVC, plus should we wait for NVC to contact us before submitting the required documents? Please help. Feeling lost in the process.

Thank you, guys in advance for the help.

Nebraska filer still waiting. PD 8/20/19 my timeline now estimates mid-late July. Was hoping to go home (currently living overseas) by the end of the year, but as the days drag on that looks like less and less of a possibility

There has been a lot of discussion on the Nebraska thread about contacting senators and congress representatives in our states about the amount of time that it is taking Nebraska compared to Potomac and Texas. It feels like we’ve just been left behind.

When we submitted our petition we sent the original copy of our marriage certificate from PSA. But if they are asking for a photocopy then maybe you should only send a photocopy.

My husband contacted the Senator in his state and he said the Secretary replied to his email saying USCIS responded to their query and imformed them that June this year they will be starting to process the cases of August filers. I hope though that's true.  Nebraska isn't really moving, seems like they are still stuck while Potomac is now processing 2019 cases.
