If you have not received an email saying you are documentary qualified and If all documents says accepted but they are asking for additional documents then please submit whatever they have asked for. Happened with me 2 days back. All documents were accepted but they want marriage certificate again.
How long did it take for them to review and approve it?

Question, if all documents have been accepted on the ceacstate portal but I have messages in my portal inbox requesting additional documents, do I need to submit them?

Yey, we got the welcome letter after 3 working days too! After paying, we wait for them to acknowledge right? And then fill up the form and submit docs? Anyone have info on how long they review documents? Does NVC expedite?
Same! NVC here we come!

Hi Friends!
Maybe it would be beneficial if we all posted our current timelines so those who have not gotten their approvals can see just how quickly USCIS is moving this January for November 2021 filers.
I-130 NOA-1 Received at Texas Center: 11/4/21Transferred to Potomac Center: 4/20/22

Hey guys! Update, just received the USCIS email this morning that our case is being actively reviewed. Hoping to get that NVC email in the next few days and we will officially be on to the next stage. I’ll keep you all posted. We filed Nov 4, 2021 and processing center is Potomac. So things are moving.
Just checked my documents tab and got the approval notice!!!! Officially approved and moving on to the NVC stage! 🎉🎉🎉

Still waiting. I reached out to my congressman a couple of weeks ago and they were able to contact the USCIS office where my case is located. He said that the USCIS record indicates that the Form I-130 petition was recently assigned to an adjudicating officer. His office has notified the officer and their immediate supervisor of your inquiry for their awareness. But, they do not have a timeframe on when the case will be reviewed to completion.
I'm really hoping after the holidays, we hear something. This is taking soooo long. We applied November 4th 2021... -

Find out who is the representative in your area (https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member). There will be 2 senators and one house of congress rep for your zip. Find out or research who has good reputation resolving immigration issues. Goto their website and they will have a form to fill up and sign. So that they can contact USCIS. Give good and valid reason. In my case, I showed the processing time is 10.5 months per site and I am 11 months passed, they send an enquiry to USCIS. WISHING YOU GOOD LUCK FOR THE APPROVAL ASAP
Thank you this is super helpful!

Hey guys, I can’t believe it, I got approved today - 362 days. I took your advice and contacted my state representative who helped me. I am so happy I cannot begin to explain how I feel right now. It’s been an emotional roller coaster for me and I’m so thankful for everyone’s help and support. I pray that you all get approved soon 🙏🙏
Congratulations!!! That’s amazing news! So happy for you guys! Could you tell me your process in contacting your state representative and what you included in your communication with them? Thinking about doing this too since it’s been almost 2 weeks after we hit the one year mark.

Current processing times via visajourney. Not sure if its completely accurate. But that said, does anyone know where I can find Potomac service center processing times on visajourney? Because its not even listed here. -
Spoke to Emma, case is still in Potomac Center. There processing time says 80% of cases are approved within 12 months and its been over 12 months by 6 days. According to their website, I cant inquire about it until Feb 2023 if I don't get approved in the next couple of months.. Sigh. Life is always on hold for visa stuff...

My case has had "being actively reviewed by USCIS" since June 6th of this year. Not sure if this will change leading up to approval?

Friends - Last night I got an alert "case is actively reviewing" for the second time (6 days after I sent RFE response). I logged in and saw the approval notice in the documents tab. What a journey for one year approval, especially in the last 6 days when they asked me to send the marriage certificate which I already submitted in the initial filing. Jesus, Allah, Muruga, Shiva, Vishnu... I wish you all to get the APPROVAL VERY SOON. VERY SOON. Thanks for all of your prayers and I will pray for you to have approval and subsequent steps as fast as possible.
NOA1 - 11/10/2021 (from Nebraska SC)
Actively Reviewing - 11/10/2021 (transferred to California SC)
RFE for marriage certificate - 11/02/2022
Responded - 11/02/2022
Actively revieing - 11/08/2022
Approval in the documents tab - 11/08/2022
NOA2 - 11/09/2022
Congratulations!! This is HUGE! I am so happy for you! Onward and upward my friend!

Hey all,
Question on the form I-864EZ. I have worked abroad for the last 3 years, two of which I didn’t receive a W-2 because I worked for a local company. I did file my taxes as a US citizen working abroad, but didn’t make enough to get any return. My current job is US-based and makes an approved amount to qualify for the form. I have not gotten my W-2 yet from my employer, since I started back in Feb of this year. Any advice on how to proceed? I’m thinking of requesting a letter from my employer, proof of my annual salary with pay stubs from the last 6 months, and maybe requesting a W-2 early?
all advice is welcome! Thank you in advance.

The approval came from Potomac center!
Amazing news! Congratulations! That's encouraging for us as we applied Nov 4, 2021 and are also at the Potomac Center! Fingers crossed we hear something in the next week or so!

Timeline says we should be getting approved between Oct 1 and Oct 29, 2022. We are at the Potomac Center. Keeping our fingers crossed. Anyone else at the Potomac center?

Coming up on 306 days. We submitted November 4th 2021. Ours is apparently at the Potomac Center. It was also transferred without notice. I just asked Emma again to confirm the location. Hopefully we hear back soon.

And us, November 4th and still actively reviewing.

Hi everyone,
Electronic file - 11/2/2021
NOA1 - 11/4/2021
Status - Received 11/4/2021
Texas Service Center
When we check online, our case still says received. It has not been reviewed or anything. I've seen in other people's posts that they have started to review cases since March. any idea why ours has not been looked at?
