You cut a slit in the packet and put your passport inside? Dont you need the passport at the airport and I thought we weren't supposed to open or tamper with the packet but turn it over to customs in the US?

No. There were two plastics. One was from 2go and the other plastic is the one with yellow packet and the passport inside. You have to cut a small slit and be careful not to damage the yellow packet. The small slit is just enough to get the passport and for you to check if the details inside the passport are correct. The yellow packet will be opened at POE and should not be opened.

I called them today and  emailed them again just now. The status now said: In transit from post

Did CFO on March 14, right after the interview. I have the certificate but I still need the sticker. Is it possible to get the CFO sticke at NAIA Terminal 1?

For those who are planning to get their CFO stickers, I have just called CFO NAIA and they said that the  CFO sticker can be claimed at the terminal.

You have to bring a photocopy of the following:

    GCP Seminar Certificate

    US Visa

    Passport

Did aftership tell you when it is delivered or ready for pickup at 2go? Ours says in transit on aftership but ustraveldocs says no status.

Maybe let's wait for a 2-3 days, some receive SMS while some don't

  5. Got our "Issued" status last March 21. Til now I can't track it via 2go and the US travel docs website. I also emailed them but no status is available for my passport yet. How long did it take for you guys to be able to track your passport after the 'issued' status?

Oh nice. Yea I don't know what determines when the change is made. We are still at immigrant and AP. Just a waiting game. We waiting this long so no harm in waiting some more.

We are on the same boat. Immigrant, AP, at the moment.

Did you check the CEAC website yet?  Our visa is undergoing Administrative Processing.  In a week or so it should change to "Issued". Then I should be able to pick it up from the 2go a few days after that

Still on AP too. Will keep you posted...

Check CEAC for your status.   Approved at the interview is not the actually approved .. you need to see ISSUED on CEAC then you are approved.

To track your visa status on the CEAC use the link below ( K-1 is processed as an immigrant visa) :
    https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

I see. We are still on AP status. Hope it changes to issued soon. Thanks, Hank

Our interview appointment was at 7:10 am.  We arrived about 6 am and stood in the 7:10 line.  I forgot my watch at home so I’m not able to give the exact times of the step by step process.

We start the process about 6:30 outside when my fiancé was  are asked to put her passport in a ziploc bag.  Then she were asked for the DS-160 and they looked for my fiancé’s name and put a sticker on her DS-160.  My fiancé goes thru the foreigner door and my daughter and I go thru the US Citizens side.  We sat in the chairs outside for about 5 minutes before we all got in line to go inside the Embassy.

Once inside we did the bag check and went to our designated area.  When it was our turn we went to the 1st pre-screen window.  The lady at the pre-screen window even asked me some questions  and I seen from the packet in front of her she had everything I mailed in our I-129f packet.  After the pre-screen we sat down a bit then my fiancé  went to the finger scan window.

After the finger scan we sat and waited in the interview area.  People with odd numbers on their sticker went to one side and even numbers went to the other.  When it was our turn to be interviewed the Counsular asked if our daughter was my biological daughter and if she had her US passport then he politely instructed me to sit down and if he needed anything from me then he would send for me.  I gave my fiancé a HUGE folder with a lot of supporting documents.  I sat down maybe for 2 minutes and here comes my fiancé with a HUGE smile on her face.  APPROVED!!!!  He did not ask for one piece of paper.  My fiancé said he asked her 4 questions:  was she ever married, was I ever married, what is my work and do our daughter have US Citizenship..

When we left the Embassy it was 8:05 am.  So the interview process took about 1 hour and we was back in time at our hotel for the free breakfast buffet, lol.

Hello. Congratulations! We got approved also. Do you have updates on the 2go tracking yet? My traveldocs account is still empty and my passport cannot be tracked yet...
