Yes they did keep the passport. 

So my fiancé had his k1 interview in Santo Domingo on January 30 and approved but since I checked on the ceac website it says “administrative process” since January 31.

anyone ever had this happen to them? How long did it take?

my fiance has his interview on January 30 Wednesday in Santo Domingo but wasn’t sure how long it takes to receive his visa after it’s been approved. 

Anyone let let me know their date ranges on how long it took them and where is a good location at I heard the galleria 360 is the fastest.

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. 

Mine said the same thing.

Thank you. That made me feel better. It’s still showing at NVC. 😔

SO I got my nvc number on November 9 Friday but I still haven’t gotten an email about it. Or a email saying it has left the nvc yet. I’m wondering what’s happening. The lady on the phone told me she had my email address and reviewed it with me. 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Just called and they finally got the case today. No case number yet...

I’m also having my other half in the Dominican Republic. I feel like it’s been forever. We should hear something something next week or hopefully tomorrow 😃LoL
