  1. We are in Austin, TX!! live music capital

You're in Phoenix? :) How's Marlon doing? don't you just love married life?

    Saludos,

    Caro

We should talk on the telephone some time! Yep, we are in Phoenix and married life is certainly interesting!

    :secret: PMed :)

Just an update for me: Since I received a biometrics appointment letter early last week, I was sure there wouldn't be any RFEs for me. Well, I was wrong, though. I received RFE yesterday for a copy of my birth certificate, which I already submitted with my original package. I guess I sent in only one copy and that was not enough for both AOS and EAD.

I will mail it out today if possible.

Good luck to you all. (F)

Oh nooo! I sent only one copy too! :help:

Did you include an english translation?

At least they were quick with contacting you about it

I thought this part of the process would be easier, but it's far more stressful than I imagined!

    Saludos,

    Caro

I sent only one copy too. I am expecting RFE about my vaccination supplement because I sent this from the medical in my home country :(

  3. Hi all! Just wanted to check in and tell you that my wife is now in the USA with me and we are VERY happy! We even were able to bring her cat and dog (not easy, but somehow we got it done)! I couldn't believe it because we flew in through Atlanta, and got the bags (4 huge bags at 23+ kg each), cat, dog, and through all the immigration stuff in about 15 minutes. It usually takes me an hour with just one bag, so we were really lucky this day. They didn't ask us any questions at all. So everything is good and finally we are together. Good luck to everyone else and thanks for all the great help and support you have all provided to us here! God bless!

Congratulations and wish you all the best!!!

Wait for you to join AOS section of the forum :)

  4. Hello all, we have safely landed in the US. As much of a hassle we had to go throughtout this journey....coming here we had 0 hassles. The immigration asked no questions and it took us 30 minutes to get out of the airport from the time the plane landed. It feels like a dream, I can't believe I am finally in our house with my wife.

Good luck to you all. I hope all of you get to have a simiar feeling very soon. :)

Congratulations    Now you will concentrate only on the new member of your family. Wish you luck

  5. Hi friends, we are in the USA    . I can't believe that this long journey is almost behind me. Almost because now we have to apply for AOS.

Wish luck to everyone with forthcoming interviews and hope to see soon all March filers in AOS section. Thanks to everybody for the support which I received in this difficult months of waiting.

That's great, Kalina! Congratulations! I take it the POE experience went ok?

Yes, at POE had not problems. We enter through Chicago and they asked me only how long I am married. The only problem there was a big queue and we have to wait long for our turn.

Jas S sorry to hear about your problems. It is not fair :angry::angry: Hope that everything will be o.k.:thumbs::thumbs:

  6. Hello, friends! I just want to thank everyone for the wonderful support that we have received here! I just talked to Oleksandra...her K3 visa has been approved! She's going to let me know all the details once she returns home.

    :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Best of luck to everyone else who is still waiting!

Wonderful new    Congratulations and wish to you both many love and luck

  7. Thanks so much !!

    Good luck to you too!

    Z.-

I wrote in the box - "K3 visa" and there were no problems. This question is for non immigrants who have to prove that will come back from USA. So Zolanden I think that they will not look at this at all. Don't worry. Ask if you have any other questions.

Everything will be o.k. Wish you luck on Wednesday

I have one more question regarding the DS 156 form.

Question. 27: What is the purpose of your trip?

Should I write this (like on the VJ example form) : relocate to the U.S.?

Or should I write "to be with my husband"?

    Thanks foryour help!

I really do not want to make any mistake.

    I wrote again K3 visa.

  8. Hello VJ,

Please help me tell my husband what to put for some of the answers on the DS-156 as I am not sure. We are married and have a K3 visa interview on Oct. 31st and don't want to make any mistakes.

On #31. Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa? Yes or No-When?-Where?-What type of visa?

Well I am not sure what to put when we got married my husband applied for a tourist visa to come visit I told him they would deny it but he said he had to know for sure he paid the visa fee and of course he was denied. He is saying he was not denied only advised that his wife had to go back to the US and file the necessary paperwork like the I-130. So what do ya'll think should we answer the question yes or no?

On #36 Has anyone ever filed an Immigrant Visa Petition on your Behalf? Yes or No If yes Who?

Since it is a K3 interview do we mark yes that his wife has filed the I-130 as well or say no.

Noone has ever filed for him before except me. THe questions are a bit tricky.

    Thanks you so much!

According to me you have to answer with Yes to both questions. Wish you luck
