  1. I was able to get the customer service rep to tell me that my case is now out of the storage room and in someone's office. They said I should have either an OK or an RFE soon. Comeon NOA2 PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Don't worry. Somebody here wrote that when someone take your cases for review they will be approve within a week. Last week my husband called through RFE line and they tell him that our cases were assigned to officer before a week. Just after a week we receive our approvals. Yours are on way.

  2. Kalina, so glad the LONG wait is over for you. As the days dragged on and on the feeling of helplessness and despair must have been overwhelming. Seeing the late Feb. early March filers being approved gives the rest of us hope. Have a speedy rest of your journey !!!

Thanks Parachute! Thanks to all for congratulations! Wish you all fast approval

  3. Finally.

Now I am not so freaked out..

Once again: CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOU!:dance:          :thumbs:

Thanks Zolanden! I hope and think that your approval will come very soon. If it is true that approval time depend on country you will receive your soon because Budapest is near to Sofia

  4. Kalina and what about the 180 day mark?

    Means nothing for them?

There are 180 after we sent I 130 petitions. We have additional 2 weeks to wait hitting 180 days after NOA1.

According the customer service line of USCIS /the phone from USCIS site/ after 180 days of our NOA1 we have to call customer service again and they will check the cases.

Unfortunately according to information from CSC /which my husband receive from local USCIS office/ they don't mind 180 days. They take in mind processing days which are published every month.

So if after two week we don't receive approval we will call customer service line again.

  5. Are there really that many applications to process.....; none of us should really be having to wait this long.

Maybe they are overloaded after DCF was stopped. I think that USCIS is unprepared with additional staff after Adam Walsh Act. For example we were intending to make DCF.

No good news about my cases. My husband was at local USCIS office yesterday trying to receive info. The lady there take his case numbers and said that would contact CSC to receive info. Today she call and the answer was: From CSC said that everything is o.k. and that we are in regular processing time. Would have to receive some information withing 6 of 8 weeks.............

I am so desperate and trying to think about something other. It is so bad that I can't make any plans in this situation. :crying: :crying: :crying:

  6. Statistics on who has been approved or not: What do you think?

    Hi Everyone,

I called USCIS on Friday to see what was happening with my case. The woman was polite but repeated herself over and over again with the usual. She told me they're now processing January 2007 applications. We all know that's not exactly true.

It's hard to see how many people are approved and how many are still waiting. So I used the VJ timeline search and (based on people reporting, which may be a problem), I got the following stats:

Note: This is K-3 Visas only. I wonder if K-3s are more complex than K-1.

    Total

    • Applications: 59
    • Approved (got NOA2 for I-130 or I-129): 27
    • in the last 4 weeks: 11
    • in the last

    2 weeks: 7

What do you think? Are we the last of the last, or are these stats correct?

    Alan

Hi Alan, why this lady have said that now they are reviewing cases from January. I can't find information on USCIS cite about processing dates for K3.

There is information only for K1/K2. It seems that they do not review K3 applications???

  7. I do not know what 's happened with the K3-s.When I joined to this forum, almost everybody was approved within 3 (or if someone RFE-d,4 ) mos.Things slowed down since jun.I really disappointed, and feel restless.Nowadays,I am thinkin about what could we do if we "ll hit the 180 day mark.

    Sorry for ranting,whining.

    Everybody have a good weekend.

Zolanden, we will hit 180 day mark soon. But the bad news is that USCIS announced that now are processing cases dated the end of December for I 130 and January for K3. So we will receive the regular lie from them - "it is early about your cases, everything is in normal time frames, just wait."

Stay strong Kalina, Think of this as a test for your love, those heartless souls running USCIS will definetly realize and give your well deserved approval. Yea, they have no right to treat us this way in our own country...we are American Citizens in America G*dd*mit.. We have a right to have a family and be with our loved ones in a resonable time frame. Six months two approve two page application is not reasonble.

Thanks again Wish, your words make me stronger. We must receive our approvals soon. I feel them

  9. Kalina it is unbelievable for me and I am feel sorry for you.

You almost hit the 180 day mark, you must be approved.

I agree this is rediculous....she need her approval now... Thats it CSC I have had enough I am going to take a stand and do what I can do best right now.... :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Zolanded, Wish, really I am feeling very bad because of this complicated process. There is not many things which we can do. We tried to reach congressman help, but unfortunately they are on vacation in August. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Let's hope that we and all from this thread will receive this so long waited approvals. It is not fair USCIS to hold families divided with months. They don't have this right. They are so inhuman organization.

  10. receiving an approval is a good feeling but that only lasts for a week...my restlessness and anxiety has returned and just called nvc and they haven't received my petition....... as of yet.

the point is the whole immigration process SUCKS at every point, more or less.

Hi Neel, don't worry. They will receive it. Maybe today. You are in the finals and this nightmare will finish soon.

About my cases nothing by now. Not even a touch. :crying: :crying: :crying:
