    Then there's no ban, but you still may have issues.
     
    Obtaining a C visa would be the easiest way to alleviate them.

    Your B2 visa was cancelled the day you overstayed. You need a visa to enter the US, even if just for transit.

    With previous overstay it might be impossible to get that Visa. 
     
    Best thing to do it find a flight that doesn't go though the US.

    You need a transit visa, which is a C visa. You will enter US territory, because that’s how the US works - they don’t have separated transit-only areas like most other countries - you will pass through the border when you come off the plane. Because of that, the requirements are pretty much the same as a B visa, which means that with a previous overstay, you’re at high risk of rejection. At least, you can find this out in advance and know if you need to route differently.
