If i we're you i would file the application myself. Especially when you knew that your case is not a complicated one. In america divorce happen all the one so im sure USCIS would understand.

If you file your own application you would know what to do and what is needed. Sometimes lawyer just mess it up.

    Good luck!

I know right! I’ve been stressed out and I couldn’t get a hold of her. Her secretary kept telling me she is not in her office.

Looks like your attorney did not do a good job for you.

Do you currently have a conditional green card?? if not, that would be the issue.

Do you by chance have a 10 year green card?? Were you married over 2 years when your green card was issued? If so then that is the issue; you may need to file an I-90 to correct green card error USCIS made when green card was issued. It is not unusual to USCIS to make green card errors when issuing green cards.

Maybe the i751 form was not fill out correctly, maybe the was no required evidence. hard to say what the issue is.

I have a 2 year green card. I read the cover letter. My lawyer incorrectly put our marriage date instead of june 2019 she stated june 2013 (when we met). I have a bunch of evidences such as statement from me and our friends, bank statements, ITR, text messages and pictures from when we got married til end of relationship .

No that it helps you, but my wife and I argued a lot during the long wait for the EAD as I am sure she felt useless and all.  But we stuck it out, like most here and every day we are happy we did.  We are a team, partners, not just married.  We make each other laugh all the time, and we are together constantly, we have movie night, date night, etc.  Ask yourself what it was you saw in him and he in you that you were sweethearts back then, and now don't want to be at all...      I can understand as well, your lack of work plays a big part, especially since he can't afford to leave his parents house to even have your own lives together, alone.  That can play a big part of the frustrations.  Perhaps get some time away,  use FB to meet some friends, or go and volunteer somewhere.  Give him time to miss you. Things might change for the better, so I would not give up so easily.  just my humble Opine.

Thank you for your opinion, I hope everything would turn out fine.

why is he worried about the interview?  He sounds like he wants you to stay in the country but admitted he no longer in love with you. if you guys are staying friends, you can't lie to the immigration officer, you'll be surprised how well they are trained to read people.   He is still your sponsor and still needs to support you until you leave the country or become a USC.  so what does he want? a lawyer just helps you file, he inst gonna save your marriage.

We don’t know if we should tell the truth to the officer because it might end up to a denial of my adjustment of status. He wants me stay here for my future as a nurse. I am a registered nurse here and I’m just waiting for my EAD to get started working. He still cares for me and wants me to have a great life here in america but the thing is he doesn’t want to be with me anymore because I’ve been emotional ever since I got here, we’ve been fighting a lot over small things, I don’t know what i’ve done wrong for him to change the way he feel towards me. I just got here 4 months ago—adjusting with my new family (we live in his parents house), i have no job and I still don’t know how to drive and i don’t have friends here. I think he is fed up with all my drama. Clearly he doesn’t understand what I am going through because he grew up here.

  5. My husband and I entered the marriage in good faith. We we’re college sweethearts back then and we are both Filipinos by the way, we graduated and he went back here to the US and a year after that he took me here by K1 Visa. When I got here in the US, everything changed. He became a totally different person from when I was in my home country, all the promises and plans were all gone. We had fought a lot of times and we can’t work out on our differences and he clearly doesn’t want to compromise. He is saying that he doesn’t want me anymore because he fell out of love. We are both worried about the interview, should we tell the truth that our marriage is not working out? Will that be a reason for denial? We are planning to hire an immigration attorney. Would an immigration attorney be a help to us? HELP PLEASE.

  6. My husband and I entered the marriage in good faith, but when I came to the US he suddenly changed. He is now saying that he doesn’t love me anymore but he said that he is willing to continue the petition and we will hire an immigration attorney during the process. Can a immigration attorney help us with our current situation? We can’t live together because we keep on fighting and I don’t want us to end up hurting each other.

  7. Help!!! I received a notification from informed delivery by USPS that I was supposed to receive my biometrics letter last friday (sept. 20) but until now I still haven't receive the letter, I already called USCIS and they said that my appointment will be on Oct. 2 at 11am and that I should wait for the letter by the end of this week. Can I request for another letter without changing my original appt date or they can send me a soft copy? Idk what to do. This is my 2nd appointment because I already missed my 1st biometrics appointment.

Just keep checking. Make sure you're checking with the MNL, UID and Passport # until it pops up with one of them . For us it was available for pick up before the status was updated on 2go tracking, so I would definitely recommend calling 2go as soon as it pops up in the system. Also was told they can check a master list to see if they have received it from the embassy before it has shown up in tracking.  Fiance picked up her visa yesterday and we have a flight booked for Sunday!

Are you trying to check the status of your visa after the interview? If you are, the term now is checking the status of your passport. Here is the right place to check it:

Great job. Tell me something. Were you in front of the CO no more then 5-10 min? Did he/she ask anything more then about 5 questions?

She asked a lot of questions about the wedding but i was confident enough to answer them. She also said that our i-129f was approved last year and why am i doing the interview just yesterday haha i thought that would be a problem so i explained and then she keeps on typing and looking on the computer later on she found out uscis made a mistake with the dates. "I got it, they put the wrong date on the approval, everything looks good and i'll suggest for your visa approval" (handed me the 2 pamphlets and explained domestic violence) yey! :)

Hello guys I am new here. I got my passport with visa recently and my CFO is scheduled on May 8. My Fiance and I are wondering, is it okay to buy the plane ticket with the departure date on May 10?

I believe you can as long as you have your visa on hand and for sure you'll be able to attend your cfo, it wont be a problem :)
