Hello everyone,
I finally have my visa in hand today. I am one of the people who had to wait a long line time in this thread - one year.
 
 I know some proposals are still waiting I really hope you all get through again asap.

Finally got our NOA2!!! Weird thing tho....we were approved last week! When we called this week to get a status they still were going off of the rfe date. No websites updates. No text or email. Just a random letter in mail. At least stage 1 is complete! That's a ride I never want to get on again 😱

Just received an Email & Text and an update on old website (1st time ever) that they received my response to my RFE. Let the countdown begin.

I really doubt they will get a different reply. If it's still security checks with no estimated time just going to file a lawsuit at the 12 month mark.

just called. first rep was extremely nice! told us we are 18 days away from 60 days for our RFE but acknowledged we are OUTSIDE processing times for sure! Even had a nice conversation about how backlogged they are!! They are demanding every worker to work 4+ hours overtime 3 days a week to try and get ahead! she said it's something serious and everyone is overworked and grumpy. She said we are in adjudication and will hopefully hear something before or on the 60 day mark. She also said that they mailed out a letter dated Oct 9th about my online inquiry but I never received it. I asked her if they can send it out again and she patched me thru to a Tier 2. 
 
This guy 'Torris' was a NIGHTMARE!!! First of all, quite rude right off the bat. Asked for my street address - Can someone please tell me what they think their 'street address' would be??
 
In my world, street address is my physical -  so that's what I gave him. He said why are you giving me false information? Are you the beneficiary? I said NO I'm the petitioner and that's exactly what you asked for. He said well tell me another address and let's see if you tell the truth this time..... 😠 so I gave him my mailing address (Po Box) and he said now I can help you. What are you calling for?
 
Then instead of hearing what I was calling about, he wanted to question me and fight me why I gave him a wrong address. I said it's not wrong. You're getting off the subject why I'm calling. You asked for a street address and that's what I gave you. If you wanted a mailing address you should have said that (since everyone else I ever spoke to at USCIS asked for mailing). 
 
I told him all I want to know is the letter that was mailed out Oct 9th, can you resend it since I never received it and I like to keep complete correspondence from this whole process. He said I can't do that. I said why not?? His response: I can't send you something again that came from us since you lied about your address.
 
OMG DUDE!!! Why are you still on this topic!?!? 
 
He said do you want a copy of your RFE? I said now why would I want that when I already responded and you guys already gave confirmation of receiving it....your not making any sense and it shouldn't be this difficult.
 
I said if there is any letter coming out from you guys, then you should have a copy saved somewhere since it's permanently with our petitions during this whole ride. So again, I'm asking for a copy of the letter that was sent out since I never received it. Can you at least tell me what it was or email it to me??
 
He said the only thing he could do is resubmit another inquiry again for me online. I said that won't work since you are telling me we are within our processing window and no one will ever pay attention to those kind of inquiries. So what good is that for me?
 
He then proceeded to end the call by saying, well if there is nothing else you have to ask me then thanks for calling and HUNG UP!
 
How do you make complaints against reps??
 
At least the first one was super nice and gave me some kind of information about our status so far....

Just an update on my case: I received my RFE in the mail on Saturday, stating that they need more evidence on the 2yr requirement of meeting one another. 

Wow that's a good news. At least you heard from them. I hope it goes fast from here. Good luck

Update: Day 307 today. 
After a meltdown just before, I logged into new site ( I typically wait until 9pm eastern time when offices close to check site for a possible movement update) I logged in just before like - Efff it let me see if any midday progress. And there it was Request for Evidence sent out Today Oct. 16th. Im an emotional mess I don’t know how to feel shocked of sudden urge to check and there it was. I am just anxious to get the literal letter in the mail. I would assume hopefully by Friday or Saturday the soonest? 
Everyone please hang in there that is left waiting I feel your pain, the tears, the madness, the emotions. Everyone that is left that movement will come forward soon. Remain strong! 

I really feel like crying for you and I this is starting to get beyond upsetting. Im on day 303 today. You and I are like 2 weeks apart. I will try calling my senator today. There is only so much we can do at this point😔🙏

hey i just got approved. My hands are literally shaking

Woke up to an email saying we are approved.
 
Dec 7 with no RFE

You need to check at 12am(midnight). I was unable to see any open dates as well whenever I checked, but I was up one night and randomly checked and the day 2 weeks away was completely open. So I'm guessing they open up appointments 2 weeks away at midnight everyday.

Update today: I contacted another senator of mine last night. (First choice  never heard back on anything) and she acknowledged my current situation and forwarded me a reaease form today to sign off and return which I just did! 😌 Fingers crossed! Hoping for some positive news myself and everyone else included still waiting.

I don't quite agree with you.  I was told by the USCIS rep when I called when my case initially was outside the normal processing time that if after the first inquiring made passes I should make another one, Mine first passed the 45 days  I was given so I had to make another one which is what am waiting for 45 days to elapse October 30th.

I think I recall what he is talking about. The case was at NVC and someone contacted a senator to make an inquiry, so USCIS recalled the application for some odd reason and they lost time because of how long it takes to transfer things between the agencies. Hopefully something dumb like that doesn't occur.
 
Though he shouldn't tell people waiting 300+ days that they screwed themselves based on rare occurrences when USCIS is already royally screwing up our properly filed applications.
 
Right now I wish I got a damn RFE, would have been faster than this nonsense security check lol

Lol im not understanding why anyone would say we are on “average time” the remaining November and December filers are passed their due time. USCIS are working on March cases. Hence why we are able to put in double the inquiries and reach out to Congress/Senate but still not succeeding on our ends. But, Yes we must wait even longer than we had hoped and we will because we have no other choice. 🙏 

Maybe all 4 of us got assigned to the same incompetent adjudicator.

It would feel so good if I get approved this week. 

Just woke up to an approval. NOA1 Dec 20. NOA2 September 26. Yesterday I got a response that they couldn't give me a timeframe for my case and that got me upset. One day later it got approved. So happy right now. 

Well I think my donkey broke all its legs because everyone with a similar timeline as mine got approved in about 190 days while I'm past 300.
