Hi guys... So I'm back again, and still no update on fingerprinting or anything.

WAC case number. Receipt (extension letter) received for i-751 back in mid September.

Is there anyone else here with a WAC case number (our dropbox was the Arizona location) that filed early September that's gotten any updates on their fingerprinting, moving forward???

I think most of us are in the same boat... no news after receiving the extension letter. I am YSC but seems to be across the board...  I have not checked with august or october filers but I would guess much of the same.

If it everyone else was getting biometrics appointments I would be worried but since this seems to affect the majority of us I am not so worried...  its a long process..

Anyone with updates on submitting inquiries for biometrics?  Our 30 days of the inquiry will be December 9th.  If no response or action, we will send one on the 10th.  Going on 70 days since they received the case without a word on the biometrics appointment.

we have not heard anything either,   I do check the case status and still at the packet received follow the i797 instructions page.

does the online cases status get updated with the i797s just like they did with the k1 and initial visa app?

  3. Thank you for the info in this thread.

We also had a similar issue.  we were originally scheduled for our interview on march 24th, then covid caused the cancelation and we received a new interview on sept30. when we showed up for the interview the IO asked if we had or needed an interpreter and before my wife could finish saying she speaks English the IO said she we would need to use one.

she call the government number and they were closed from 10am to 2pm that day. then she told us our meeting was canceled. whole thing took 5 min.    after 2 months we received another notice that we were ready to interview on dec 14th ......   the notice says that we may have an interpreter available by phone however the documents online say they must be in person and sign a form in from of the IO.    I have tried calling the number to uscis but that go to a circular computer trying to be helpful but unable to answer my questions. (despite the computer telling me she can lol)

at this point I am going to book the interpreter online and hope that we get someone nice.

  4. add us to the list of canceled interviews... our interview was scheduled for March 24th .. we received the notification that it had been canceled on the 20th.

I had heard that offices were reopening but I have still not heard anything about a new interview date. I check the uscis site about 2 times a week ... has anyone tried to call and get a status on interview dates?  it seems like this might be more office location depended and here in the Washington DC area most of the government is still work at home so may still be a while longer before they start scheduling interviews.   too bad they cant to them over teams/zoom/etc

  5. I did receive a response via email.

Hopefully I will be able to get in touch with someone in the next few days.

I am glad I made copies of everything before sending so this is fairly easy to reproduce.

Below is the main information from the email..  I will have to call with several questions I have not listed in the documentation

    1. Do I need to pay the total fees for both documents ( that is about $1000 )
    2. Do we need to replay everything (biometrics etc)
    3. does this reset the clock from the start of initial documents

  6. Thank you for the replies,

just to answer a few questions yes I did check with my neighbors, unfortunately none of them saw it... from the time stamp it was likely delivered much further away.  I have not moved since filing petition we have received all other correspondence. And i have had multiple talks with both the mail delivery person and the manager with now luck for (going on two weeks now)

I did open a case with uscis. they requested an expedite which did get a quick email response stating they would expedite an investigation into my missing card (however since it shows delivered on usps I do not think they will do anything. and the person I talked to at uscis didn't seem to know what the process was for getting a new card sent out :(  )

  7. Went from being so happy to being completely upside down.

we found received our approvals for i131, i864, and i765.  we had submitted all of the forms together.

earlier in the week I was sent a notification that my wifes combo card had been sent. this was great because we had book a trip back home for the end of February.

my mail usually arrives at 3:15 to 3:45 every day. on this day I had to pick up my son from school at 3:30, before leaving at 3pm I we checked the mail just to see if any good news had arrived. As I headed to the school I felt a txt message come into my phone once I was parked in the carpool lane waiting for my son I read the text saying that the card had been delivered today two days earlier than expected I thought wow how great. however when I look at the detailed info on the usps site it said the card was delivered at 2:20 pm.   I thought they might not be on exact time or maybe it was the senders timezone.

after getting back home at 4 I hurriedly walked to the mailbox to get the mail and surprise may when I discovered only the normal junk mail.

I thought maybe it was still on the truck and wont make it until later or maybe it will be delivered tomorrow since it is so near Christmas I know they are super busy.

two days after not receiving it I went to my local post office to stand in the long Christmas rush lines and was told to call the local dispatch center as the mail for my location came from a central dispatch area.

I called the the number and talked to the supervisor who was very apologetic and even called the mail delivery carrier who did not know how she could have delivered it to the wrong address...

I have called and opened up an expedited request at uscis to look into it however since my usps status shows delivered I feel like they are not going to be helpful

is there know way to get an expedited replacement card?

We had our EAD biometrics appointment on Monday. Our NOA1s are ~ May 21. Still waiting on AOS Bio appointment.

We just had our biometrics appointment today. it was the combined appointment. EAD and AOS

not sure if it helped but 2 weeks ago I reached out to my congressman and 10 days later we got our letter.

Also our noa 1 is july 8

  9. We received our noa1 for the adjustment of status, work permit, and travel permit on july 11th.   (State is maryland)

however we have not received our fingerprint interview or any other correspondence.  First are other people having extra long wait times?  and if not other than filing a request of inquiry is there anything else we can do?     we would like to plan some travel back to thailand but I would feel much better already having the advance parole in hand.

    thanks,

    John

  10. Notification came at 11:20am edt and was via text.  I have only verified through the case tracker app but I do show approved in the app.

Wow!! Congrats! Did you get notification this morning? Did you get a text? Also, what’s your NOA1 date? So happy for you!

I will update my status here late this afternoon when I have access to a personal pc.

  11. Yes I was using the tracker app to search about a hundred cases in front of mine.  Well.  I got to work late and found our status was approved.  So looks like they are churning through the applications at a good clip. Keep up hope it will be soon
