    Lisa88 got a reaction from Russ&Caro in Evidence of bona-fide marriage with divorce
    I was afraid of anyone around me like my family or some of my friends finding out about my sexuality, so I lied about my gender.
    But now that I am going through a hard time and the possibility of a divorce, which is way more devastating to me and my life, than my friends or family finding out about my sexuality, I just decided to be very honest about this in this post.

    Again, I apologize for the lie.  I am actually male, and just used a random name that came up to my head, when I created my user account.

    Right,,, so you get a condition GC and wait for 1 year + 9 months. Then about 15 months of processing time. So It takes a total of 3 years to get a 10 year GC, from the date when the conditional GC was obtained.

    Sounds like a long journey ^^;

    Lisa88 got a reaction from Kiolas in AOS I693 will a curable STD lead to denial?
    I know this is embarrassing but I was diagnosed with gonorrhea.
    I don't know when and where I got the virus but after I went through medical test, I was told I have gonorrhea.

    I am aware that HIV has been removed from the list of diseases that make you inadmissible to the US through AOS.
    HIV is incurable yet was removed from the list but it seems like Gonorrhea and CHLAMYDIA still remain on the list even though they are curable.

    Now I am worried if my AOS will get denied because I have Gonorrhea. Once I have it cured with medicine, will I still have a chance?
    How about CHLAMYDIA? Or just having a history of carrying those virus will automatically get you rejected regardless of whether it's cured now?
