Our case is ready to be interviewed. Has anyone else been selected for interview? Most of the people I see here got an approval without the need for an interview. Any specific reason why we might have been selected and if anyone has given an interview already any advice and tips would be appreciated !

Well, we just had ours yesterday, went from ready to be scheduled to scheduled in like a month. Went well, fingers crossed now.
we don’t have kids yet, don’t know if that was the reason we go selected because we had an AOS interview also.

Thank you! It's definitely frustrating that there's no clear way to estimate when everyone's case will be processed, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone here to get an approval very soon.

    Got an update today.
filled my package in July 2020

    Biometrics reused August 11 2020

    case transferred  February 19 2021.

    fingers crossed

Congrats to everyone who has finally been approved.

EAC case here, finally got an update today since August of 2020:

    My timeline for reference:

    7/27 - Package sent.

    7/31 - Package received.

    8/10 - CC Charged for $680.

8/17 - Received I-797 NOA with 18 month extension (Notice date 8/10) - Also says "Notice Type: Receipt Notice".
8/25 - Fingerprints applied to my case.
2/11/2021 - New card is being produced

Does this automatically mean the interview is waived or do I have to wait for further updates?

    Congrats.
i am a EAC filer too and my biometrics was reused 11th of August and no update since then. I filed in July also.
this gives me hope though that they are looking at July filers already

    Congratulations!

Anyone here with a case number EAC still waiting on an update?

I received my 18 month extension , and on August 25th fingerprints were waived but I haven't seen any progress since then.

My case number starts with EAC and my fingerprints were applied August 11th and nothing since then

    hello all,

we are going to file next month so we started preparing our paperwork sooner.

we are posting this question here since the members already got the extension letter so they know what to do. anyway, we were wondering about what to write in the sections of the form that doesn't apply to us. for example, we do not have children, so do we write N/A, or None, or leave it blank.

second example: no  other names used, so what is the correct tip to write?

please if you can answer what is your experience and if you did write none or n/A or both, where did you write it. example: 2a: none...

    thank you and good luck

We left those spaces blank just like we did in aos forms

Got my Green card in the mail today 👏

Just wondering when I can expect my SSN to arrive. I ticked the box on the application to get one sent to me.

Congratulations. You will have to go to social security office to apply for a ssn card as the form you ticked was for work authorization not for the change of status.

When i got my green card in October, because I didn’t get a work permit, i had to go apply for ssn at the office

Hey @Kels00 we got notice for sept 5 biometrics that they received it and updated sept 6 on uscis website. They got the travel packet on july 30, and stated sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. I didn't get any paperwork in snail mail yet. Did you get anything in mail?

He last mail i got was biometrics appointment. Expecting interview appointment mail this week

    Hi everyone,

Our whole package got returned in the mail today, we were rejected because our lawyer prepped our petition with outdated forms.

We’re getting another lawyer and requesting a refund of service fees.

Please which form was outdated? I think i see a new work authorization form and i filled the old one but I submitted before the new one came in

I'll bet working days with USCIS
    They don't work weekends.

Also- please update your timeline. Helps VJ as a whole know what is happening and it Makes it easier for others to help you answer questions

Am applying for aos. Got married march 29th. Submitted my forms without the i-131 because i do not intend to travel. Sent package through usps july 3rd. Was delivered july 12th.

    Just anxiously waiting now

You can try to call them. Did they cash your check or something? According to an USCIS call center person it can take up to 10 days to get an electronic NOA1. Did you file the G-1145 form to get e-mail or text notification?

I used cashiers check so I won’t even know when its cashed. I submitted the G-1145 form and its been over 10days. Except they mean 10 working days

AOS/AP/EAD packaged delivered last July 12, but we still haven't received any notifs yet. still within the 10 Day period, but I'm already worried lol we'll call USCIS after the 10 day period. Anyone else experiencing this or within my timeline?

Goodluck to all of us patient people!

My application packet was delivered July 12th and still no update. The wait is killing 🤦‍♂️
