Hi everyone, our window opens May 15th so we're diligently preparing our package! Not excited to be back doing all this paperwork but alas lol

Hey all -
Quick question, when providing copies of utilities bills and other monthly statements...how many should we include? Just a few months or everything since original conditional green card interview?Gracias!

Hi all, happy Friday
We had our interview on Monday at Albany NY field office. Brought a full binder of additional evidence (everything required on the interview notice + more photos, etc.) but the officer didn't ask for any of it!! We front loaded our original petition and AOS packet so I think that's probably why.The officer was super nice and only verified my husband's I-485 info (addresses, employment, the end questions about cults and terrorism, etc) and asked a few simple things about me (my name, birthday, where I was born). Updated our current address and gave a new I-864 as my income has changed since we filed. That was it! Was about 20 mins total, quick and painless.
Were told everything looked good and we are essentially approved but the only thing is USCIS lost our I-693 medical that my husband came into POE with 😡. I had copies ready to show but they couldn't take those so we got an RFE for that and have to redo the medical exam again....we were lucky enough to find an appointment that day so will be sending back to USCIS next week and hopefully get official approval letter soon.
Kinda annoyed we have to wait yet again, especially since it's not our fault, but oh well. -

Hi all!
So our interview is scheduled June 22 🥳. The checklist in the letter is pretty standard but do have some questions...
It mentions to bring birth certificates for any children and then custody papers for any children not living with you. My husband's 2 daughters live with their mom in Argentina. We have a document that's basically an agreement between them outlining terms (visitation, child support payments, etc.) signed by the judge and lawyers when they divorced. We also have both their birth certificates but nothing is originals, it's all copies.
We will obviously get everything translated from Spanish but is that enough to bring with us for that requirement? It doesn't mention to bring originals specifically for the kids paperwork, just everything we've submitted thus far (K1, AOS).

Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well. We are getting a bit worried with processing times. We sent our EAD/AP renewal in January and haven't seen any movement since (other than "We received it and we're processing it"). It expires in July. The receipt notice also has my husband's last name spelled wrong and we've tried twice to submit a typo form but no response. Green card is STILL waiting for NYC...410 days since we filed.Hoping to hear some good news soon. Any advice for those of us just waiting and waiting and waiting? Might try to call USCIS and see if they can provide any info...😕

Hi!
We sent all of our paperwork in feb 2020 and are still waiting for our interview to be scheduled. Does anyone know how long New York City is taking to schedule interviews?
Also my husbands EAD is expiring in June. Should we apply to renew now ? And is there a renewal fee ?
Any help and thought are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
We are also Feb filers waiting for NYC Feels like forever.
My husband's EAD expires in July so we filed to renew the EAD in January. You should do it ASAP just to be safe. No fee, just make sure you indicate you have a pending I-485. -
We are waiting patiently in NYC for our interview to be scheduled. Has been in "ready to schedule" status since April 2020 but I know NYC is one of the slowest offices.....😩

Hey all! I just sent out my WORK AUTHORIZATION EAD RENEWAL FORM. It was delivered to USCIS on Friday 1/22/21 at this address with UPS.
USCIS
Attn: FBAS
131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60603-5517We ALSO filled out a G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance Form but still no word yet. I know it's only been 3 business days but when we sent in our AOS last year it only took them 3 days to notify us that they got it. Just wondering if anyone else experienced similar circumstances.
We're in a similar situation. Sent our renewal packet for our combo card (EAD/AP) on Sat Jan 1/16 with the G-1145, delivered 1/19 and haven't gotten any texts or mail yet. We sent it to the lockbox address though:

Just trying to be patient as always lol -

Just a head's up for those renewing or haven't adjusted status yet, USCIS updated the EAD form (I-765): https://www.uscis.gov/i-765
New edition date is 8/25/2020 with expiration 7/31/2022. Not really sure what's changed but figured I'd let everyone know
