Also LIN. I've had no updates beyond received.
I plan to call USCIS on Monday, to check up on biometrics, and make sure I haven't missed anything, in case they haven't updated it online.
I don't even care if they reuse mine or not, I'm happy to go in person, my workplace is so close to my ASC, that it'll be no extra inconvenience to duck out of work for biometrics.

LIN filler here, still no update about biometrics letter, sent them request about case out of the timeline or (whatever its called)))) got email after 1 month saying i should be patient :))))
also traveled with expired GC and ext letter, Turkish airlines rep was super knowledgeable on the way back through IST, had no issues.
Entered with Global entry - smooth like a butter, it didn't give me paper and sent me to the officer, but officer was super sweet and stamped and let me even ahead other people because i had expired GC and ext letter + Global Entry :)) tip: give all the documents together to the officers, i saw they really like when people are prepared and dont waste their time.
Good luck to us all

I am a December filer, and our group has no movement with LIN. Real BS to see them skip Nov and Dec and work on Jan and Feb. I seriously hate this process. One of my personal negatives is that I am overly patient, but I get really anxious when I see things not working in A,B,C,D but in A,Q,E,Y 🤦♀️

I don't think the new administration has anything to do with speeding up the process. If anything it'll probably get longer since more people will apply...

Update, just travelled back from Maldives & Dubai through Emirates Airlines. Extension Letter I-797 was seen by both counters at Maldives and Dubai and they understood what the letter was and they didn’t say anything. Everything was checked and given back to me within 5 seconds. Just wanted to ease anyone’s mind that’s worried about airlines counters knowing what the extension letter is!

BuBLes reacted to Mobius1 in Traveling on Extension Letter?
Wanted to update my second travel, this time by air.
So, interestingly the kiosks were not working. Everyone had to go thru individual checks. 2 out of 3 people were being sent to second screening. I also received this special honor. The wait was almost 40 - 50 mins due to many people in the room. Basically no more seating was available. When my documents were picked up, it took almost 10 mins for the processing.

It really is horrific
Who would have though waiting almost 2 months to be told a stupid cheque is cashed. ayyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeee
I personally think that at this rate, we should all get our cases transferred and approved on the spot! 😁
Happy Holidays folks

BuBLes reacted to ROC-AL in I-751 November 2020 filers
legally they cannot fire you for this immigration delay. they would have to consult the HR department on that or call USCIS themselves. they can ask you about your status, but just explain you have filed for ROC and that is all you can do till NOA shows up. My is a WFH employee and her GC expires on Feb 14 2021. All that have filed in november here are in the same boat

Photos are only needed if you are filling from overseas and spouse is military
If you are filing from outside of the United States because you, your spouse or your stepparent is residing outside of the United States on U.S. military or government orders:
Two passport-style photographs for each petitioner and dependent, regardless of age; Two completed Form FD- 258 Fingerprint Cards for each petitioner and dependent 14 to 79 years of age; A copy of current military or government orders. -

BuBLes reacted to Mounat02 in is U.S. citizenship worth it?
Tend to agree. Except, once in a while, I get to tell border agents of TWO countries that they can't talk to me like that. On one occasion I even told an agent to stuff it.

BuBLes got a reaction from fromNZ in Expedite EAD card process due to job offer - PLEASE HELP!
Hi guys. Thank you all for your. I just hope anyone that got expedited EAD can you post the job offer letter sample? How it looks like?
Thank you

BuBLes got a reaction from Lemonslice in Expedite Green card interview
There are ways to expedite. Do more research. Just because I got EAD in 75 days doesn't mean u can't expedite for the interview. I am also a wife of a US military member and I was told in USCIS office I can expedite even green card as my husband gets deployed in war zones. And after getting green card it's even possible to get US citizenship faster than 5 years. I already regret making this topic as everyone gets upset and mean coz some people got things faster😂 people you are mean 😁
