    Hello guys!

My wife just received her Green Card! We recieved the "card being produced" on june 11. I didn't post immediately on the forum just to make sure it wasn't a glitch and just waited until recieved the actual card! We got NO RFE, NO Interview, Our case got transferred to Nebraska, she had biometrics appointment (we went together) and we mailed our ROC on july 11 of 2018

I wanna thank everybody for the good vibes and responses to our questions, thanks to Nebraska Service Center and God bless the US.

Any questions you can ask me, stay positive.

Just got back from my biometrics appointment. It was fast and efficient. Picture and fingerprints were taken.

Within a month, I'll be filing for naturalization. I imagine it will be arranged along with the removal of conditions.

I just received a letter with my biometrics appointment 🙂

Is it me, or are just the K1 people the ones getting the biometrics waived?

I didn't know USCIS was waiving biometrics until receiving a letter from them today. This is what it says:

"USCIS has received your form and is currently processing your application, petition, or request. This notice informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded.

USCIS is continuing to process your application, petition, or request. USCIS will contact you in writing if any additional information is necessary to resolve your case."

It will be interesting to see if there is more action on my file before I am eligible to apply for citizenship in July 2019.

We filed a week before you, and it’s exactly the same situation. No need to worry.

I think it would only delay if you’re living in another field offices jurisdiction.

I moved recently (but wishing the area of my field office anyway) and  filed the change of address online. Not sure of the consequences yet, since it’s not time for any news for us July 18 filers.

Medical insurance shouldn't be too bad, my husband have ours separate through work because it's cheaper, but they may ask for 2016 tax return. Even if you didn't work, your spouse still could have filed jointly, just with you as no income. At this point, there's no really going back for it, so I would send what you have.

My proof of relationship looked like this:

Joint Car loan for 2016 Nissan Rogue in both our names
Joint Car loan for 2016 Hyundai Accent in both of our names
Document showing we are each others  beneficiaries for our own 401Ks and stock plans
Documents showing we are each others beneficiary to life insurance plans
2016 and 2017 tax returns filled jointly
Cable bill in his name to our home address
Electric bill in my name to our home address
    Paystubs showing same home address
Apartment lease in both of our names for Feb2017-Feb2018 and Feb2018-Feb2019          (Going to see if they ask for June2016-Feb2017, since I never added him to our old apartments lease)
School registration showing that he is an emergency contact for my daughter
Car insurance in both of our names for both cars
Joint bank account where all of the money goes in both of our names (Sent statements from Dec 2015 when he got on the account prior to marriage, then Feb 2016. June16,Sept16,Dec16,Mar17,June17,Oct17,Dec17,Feb18)
Pictures of us on vacation, out with my daughter, family gatherings etc.
    Hotel bill from vacations

It took exact 536 days to receive the green card after filing I-751 and yes I did change the address once in that period.
    Thanks

I strongly recommend NOT to travel without either the NOA or i-551 stamp.... heck I wouldn't even travel with my green card expiring so close to my returning date , remember that life is full of unexpected things, any delay in your trip and you would have a really hard time getting back into the US.

If there is no other choice I would make an Infopass and explain my situation to see if they can give you a i-551 stamp even if it is a short term one, the worst that can happen is they say no.

Send in one check for $680 made to "US Department of Homeland Security". Make sure to spell it out completely. DON'T abbreviate.

    Hi All,

We mailed the joint I-751 Petition on May 07 and got delivered today early morning. Lets see how long does it take for checks to be cashed and the NOA to be issued.
