  1. I was thinking if we are going to have our RFE.. My boy sent me the photocopies of packet he sent to USCIS..

As I was checking, I noticed that there are few items he left blank in I-129F such as Part B item number 11 (Has your fiancee ever been in the US); though he answered number Part B, #12 N/A (If your fiance is currently in the US complete the following: blah, blah); Part C, he left items# 2 & 3 unanswered (not even N/A).. Duhh!

Another thing is the G325A (tsk tsk. Patience Julie! Heehee).. He left blank the city and country of birth; US SS#; employment last five years and he filled-up only one copy of that G325A.. When I posed him about it, he said its just the same thing and they (USCIS) will just photocopy it. Though I strongly doubt that, I just hushed myself coz I dont want another arguments.

I believe, CSC will send back to him the papers (right?).. How long would it take since we filed it last January?

    Thanks

  2. ok this vermont talk is getting to me. What makes vermont so much faster? Non lazy workers there? Or Less applications to go thru?

Heehee.. Vermont, if you have noticed, the countries they are assisting just have FEW petitioners among other states.. What confusing me is that what the NCS and TSC doin if they just forward all the petition to CSC, just bumming workers? Hee.. Idle huh..

    you'll see the date change.

    no email just "touched."

Meaning if what was written in my status online is something like this: On January 24, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow blah, blah, blah; the date you were pertaining is that Jan. 24, 2007? Thanks.

  3. Hey all.

I filed my I-129F petition at the Vermont Service Center January 2007. I got NOA 1 saying they recieved it January 17, 2007 and received NOA 2 stating approval January 25, 2007. I just got the letter from NVC saying they received the petition from VSC and will be sending to Manila Embassy within the next week. I was really surprised it was approved so fast. Good luck to all of you.

That is lightning fast....unheard of!!!! WOW congrats!!!!!!

FYI i'm not an idiot, i found the NOA1!!!!!!

Hahhaha.. Guess you just misplaced it. :) Thank God.

  4. Fellow January filers,

I'm an idiot. I lost the NOA1. Yes please call me idiot. I got all wild (drinks) the night I received it and misplaced it. Can I request another one? Is this a big problem down the line????

Heehee.. As far as I know, it would not be a big problem any time soon. But I've heard that some petitioners sent their NOA1 and 2 to their benificiary prior to their interview. Hope you made your account on uscis.gov to track the status of your petition.

  5. I was diagnosed of having a minimal tuberculosis yesterday. Whatta frustrating and disappointing day for me.. But then, it was a blessing that I have found out about it this early than later on my medical examination.

Anyways, what other test should I take in advance so I would not be in trouble when my medical examination and interview already schedules?

    Thanks!

  7. I am not sure if there is such a letter required on passing the I-129F packet to USCIS IF the petitioner is a military official. But I do remember that I've read somewhere that there is a letter required from the military's commander, just aint sure what kind of letter is that. What's on the body of the letter and all that stuff.

If someone can enlighten me with this one, I would really appreciate that coz we want to meet all requirements needed before passing the packet..

    Thank you in advance.

  8. How important it is to include that authenticated birth certificate with my G-325A.. I never knew that I have to include that so I did not send my authenticated copy of my birth certificate to my fiance.. Does it really needs to be the original authenticated or photocopy will do? Coz I was just thinking of sending it to him via fax. Would USCIS accept that? Plus I have sent my fiancee the copy of my passport.

And I believe that sending it via FedEx will be very costly again. Coz they still apply regular rates even if its just one page document. So I was thinking of just sending it via postal.. How safe?

Plus those dates I've put on my G-325A and my Letter Intent to Marry was January 2 of present year, wherein that was the date when I filled it up. How long is the validity of those papers from the date I filed them?

Any idea with this mess Ive done!?! Argghh!

    Thank you in advance!

    Julie
