  1. Almost 46% (if am not mistaken) of Phil and Phil-Am population is in CA. There's a lot of christian churches scattered over the town..

Compare to the ladies, guys are havin MORE hard time to adjust coz they are not that out goin like girls. I would suggest you to encourage and accompany him to go out while he has no pinoy friends yet..

    God bless.

  2. Thank you Ruchie for starting this thread though I'm pretty sure it will be moved to another section... I don't have records of all my vaccinations and I'm not even sure if I was vaccinated even when I was a kid. Will there be a problem if I cannot show them a record?

    Mae

If you cannot show them any record of your vaccinations, they would still have you vaccinated (even if you have it before). :)

    Hope that helps.. :)

  3. I'm a little worried all of the sudden. Maybe for no reason. The name of the street Sheryl lives on was changed awhile back. We used the new street name on all of our forms. However when she went for her medical she gave St Lukes the old street name. I mean mail still gets there using the old street name. But now we are worried this might be something that could cause AR. Are we just over reacting or is that possible that might cause AR? Anyone have any ideas?

I would suggest your Sheryl to get a paper from her local official (ie barangay captain or mayor) regarding the changed of street name and make it notarized. So if ever they (USE staff) question about it, you have supporting documents that she did not change location.. Dont worry about AR, majority of it happened because of some errors in their BC or incomplete documents..

    God bless.. :)

  4. I stand by my original prediction. I predict that on or before March 17th, January filers will see approvals.

    ;)

    Come on CSC!!!!!!!!!!

That's strange you guys haven't receive NOA2 yet??? Danm, I don't want to leave my team of January filers behind  , Are you guys also from Vermont? What are you guys status when you check online?

    Thanks,

    Gio.

Hehehe. That was funny. :) Haven't you read that post above you? CSC.. Hehehe.. So we're not from Vermont. The status says, on our case, is still the same "updated" date.. We're happy for you though and thanks for the support for us.. :)

    God bless.

  6. I guess it is different in different states of USA. I ordered my birth certificate (my mom can't find mine ) and they only sent the short form, without my parent’s names. I complained and they said no problem (I had to return the BC with a written request for the long form with my parent's names) and 6 weeks later I received in the mail the EXACT SAME SHORT FORM, except now my parent’s names were typed onto the bottom of the form! I gave up and didn’t complain further. One poster here said that after a certain age, they do not issue the “long form” but maybe that is only in certain states? Dunno.

Anyway I had my passport so didn’t send the BC in at all, and I got my I-129F approved fine, with no mention of it. I'm sure the BC won't be needed at the Consulate interview, but I sent it just in case.

Oh okay. It's just confusing me coz methinks everyone has the prerogative to have the original/authenticated copy of their bc.. But who am I to question their law about it.. Hehehe..

OH NO! I guess that means I have an RFE on the way :( My parents names were not on the back of the form.... :(:(:(

I will try to order online today ...

I discovered on this forum that Turkey requires ORIGINAL birth certificate anyway, so I guess I kind of expected an RFE anyway. Hopefully I'll have them in hand when the RFE arrives and send them the same day.

You will be fine.. (My fiance and I just keep laughing everytime we talk about the possible RFE ahead) Just keep it cool and we'll all be fine. :)

My Fiance forgot to submit my G325a....it is pretty easy actually to quickly forget something and get an RFE,but it can be corrected so it is no big deal :)

Yeah, just prepare ahead of time the POSSIBLE docs they would ask if they'll give you an RFE and you will be fine.. :)

  7. Sorry to hear this.. But you must be thankful too that it is the only document you need to complete.. God bless.

Anywho, short form birth certificate has the american citizens' parents name on it, right? My fiance sent me a copy of his short form bc and that was also what he included in our packet but he attached the copy of his passport too.. Would this add up delays for us?

Well the RFE finally showed up in snail mail. And the final verdict is...always send in the long form of your birth certificate. I only had the short form when I filed. Fortunately I had ordered them and I have the long form to send in. If you have your passport this isn't an issue but since my fiancee is from Canada and I always drive up it hasn't been an issue till now. Your birth certificate MUST show BOTH parents names.
