Double reacted to FocusedFemale in VAWA, Part 11
Hi, just resend it with the fee waiver. It happened to me too. You could also send a cover letter with it, explaining the urgency of the situation and proof that you have a job offer. Ask kindly for them to expedite the processing.

Don't worry the same thing happened to me, my EAD was approved in 2 months. My lawyer first file on 6/13/2018 under c31 category, after reading experiences on the forum i called him and let him know that c31 is approved vawa, he did his findings and told me he was sorry, he then filed again in july to renew my old EAD that was denied due to the denial of my previous 485, he sent it to NBC instead of VC. I had two receipt numbers one from NBC and One From VC. I did biometrics on 19 july. Both case status updated to finger print review completed. on August 14 the case stutus from VC changed to your card is being produced. The one from NBC still remains at finger print review completed. I never received any notification that my case was transfered to VC. Yesterday my card was delived to my lawyer. I can't thank God enough, it has been a rough road.

HELLO my VJ family. I first joined in 2012 and started the VAWA application process then.
BIG THANKS to Sandra/ @sandranj for all the help.
First, I want to tell everyone..make sure you are safe before anything, speak up, don't be afraid to ask for help.
Second, Be Patient. I know the feeling of not having a status in the states / being in removal proceedings or not being able to work.
Third, DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE
I'm an example that there is hope. I had a DUI with two violations of probation when I applied. I was in jail for over three months with an Immigration hold , having a bond of 100 dollars.
Went from Wakulla Immigration Facility to Jacksonville Immigration Facility to Broward Immigration Facility.
I was sure I was going to get deported.
I applied for naturalization after 2 years 9 months of having my green card.
Now I'm a Citizen and I voted for the first time today.

Yea, your RFE is most likely about that. I submitted it in July and they still wanted the latest one for 5/31/2020. The 2017 form was rejected though I read online that they were accepting old forms.

You can request an Emergency AP by simply making an InfoPass appointment. Emergency requirements are here (scroll down quite a bit):
https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/travel-documents/emergency-travel
Regular processing times can be found here:
https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
For I-131 at VSC it says 2.5-5 months currently (this changes every month based on their workload).
A combo card is issued when you apply for I-765 and I-131 at the same time and processing times are similar. They will issue separate documents when you file separately or when processing times are very different.

May 29, 2018 - renewed EAD approved and mailed out.
June 5, 2018 - received renewed EAD - C9
July 26, 2018 - I360 Card mailed out. (Online alert)

My question is for those who have been approved - how long before you got your c31 card and approval notice in the mail?
Congrats to all those approved! And god bless to all those waiting. It will happen. Have faith.

Deferred action it means you can't be deported from the U.S until final adjudication of your I-485.
Many members of visa Journey travelled with AP in the past and they didn't have any problem to reenter, but many things changed in the immigration Law in the past 3 weeks and I advise everyone now not to travel abroad.

Same here. Spouse withdrew petition - no removal proceeding - filed VAWA.
Be encouraged. You’re not alone and your case is not unique. 😊

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
select I-765 and Vermont Service Center, then scroll down and look at category c9
current processing times are 4-6 months, so a minimum of 120 days from receipt date. If you have a job offer, you can send a letter to VSC and request to expedite. They might do it or might not but I think it is worth a try.
