@VickeySis I am no expert and only a little bit ahead of you (November filer) but I can see that nobody has stepped up to answer. So thought I might share what I have gathered this far. I *think* that the names will still have to be ran thru the proper databases...because background checks will have to be done on every place he has lived since he was 16 and if he lived there for more than 6 months. So even if he goes back to Pakistan - they would still do a check on him in Dubai, since he lived there. I could be wrong...but this is my understanding. Hope it helps in some way. Good luck!

Thank you sooooooo very much!!!! I found the answer about 2 days ago but I still appreciate your niceness!

I learned my lesson the hard way. Did go to the interview today without the packet3. However, the first consul didn’t allow me to proceed with the fingerprinting and the actual interview. Even if the packet3 is a generic letter, they have the access to check it on the system if a packet3 has been sent. She did confirm that my file is already at the embassy but I just need to have the packet3 to proceed. Been waiting for the packet3 for 2 months already and I really don’t know how long will I need to wait.

I am soooo very sorry to hear this for you all. Did they tell you why your packet 3 hasn’t been emailed to you already? Or give you timeframe as to when you will receive it? It’s crazy it’s been 2 months. Even with Ramadan others have received and interviewed wonder why the delay. Wishing you all the best♥️🙏🏽

They're really working on new system guys. From December filers group there are already 5 approvals from December. Hopefully after the maintenance this weekend, they have fixed the glitch and continue working on December cases

THANK YOU for sharing this. And yes, let’s hope after system “reboot” the NOA2 just start rolling thru!

I'm keeping hope that the timelines will go further back. Mine has been hovering between July 14 and 15 for a while now. Im hoping to see it drop to the first days of July. Hopefully we can all do our interviews in late August and September. Also, we are so talkative guys! I feel we might get our Part II thready before NOA2s!

Hehehe I’m sooooo thankful for this thread though and expect even more “communication” closer to July😉🙃😊🙏🏽

Mine went from July 23rd to July 26th.  It slipped 1 day yesterday and 2 more days today.  I'd been thinking of staying in Australia until her interview if it looks like it would be soon.  Looks like the interview won't happen till the fall now.  Nooooo! :(  Is something going on with USCIS now?

That is definitely the million dollar question that we would all love to have answered!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Good Afternoon.   Yes, that is the only reason.  I have a copy of his paperwork.  When they went through his belongings they found his birth certificate, divorce papers, and other documents that we needed for the I-129F.  Said he shouldn't have come to the US on a B1/B2 visa, knowing he was planning to get engaged/married.  They did not believe that after his 6 month stay he would be returning to Morocco.  Additionally, they said the $5000 was not enough for the 6 month stay.  In his paperwork he also had confirmation from me about sponsoring him financially and housing him.  I spoke directly to the CBP agent, they called me to confirm his story and that he was coming to my home.  6 hours later they called me to tell me he was not entering the US.  No other reason.

4 days later when he returned home and faxed me his paperwork, I hired an immigration lawyer (after consulting several from here).  Had we called a lawyer while he was still retained in Philadelphia he may not have been sent back.  I didn't know to do that, and they told me they sent him back that evening.  (They actually detained him in Philadelphia for 2 days).

Lawyer said that his religion and region of the world he comes from could have played into this. I hope that is not the case, either way, we are dealing with misguided administrative policies these days.  By the way, my husband never overstayed previous visits.  He has a USC brother in Dallas, who has been here for 28 years.

It's a catch 22.  He is given up to 6 months to visa on B1/B2, but they questioned his 6 month visit.....(which he had done previously) - Yet they later will want us to prove our relationship legit, but don't want to afford couples the opportunity to immerse into the family.  I am looking at the many blessings that surround me, I am just getting impatient.  I pray for patience. :)

I am sorry that you all are going thru this. If your lawyer actually stated Fuentes to husband location and religion I suggest getting another attorney. Morocco was the first country in the world to recognize the US as being its own country (desperate from Britain) the Moroccan US tied a are very strong. Hillary Clinton grandfather is from Morocco. There is a TON of facts to give..I have been thru this process with morocco believe me it has nothing to do with religion and the country.

    Good luck!
