Yaye!!! Congrats. No update on mine but I'm hopeful that it is coming soon.
Congratulations 👏 👏 👏 doing the happy dance for you.
Thank you so much!
Hope you get an update very soon!
Certainly came as a surprise as Vermont center seems to be on the slower side based on their given processing times!

Whoa congrats! Your fingerprints update were really super quick! Most of us filed earlier and still no update after receiving the NOA in mail.
Which lockbox did you send it to and what are your initials for your case? Mine is in MSC and from the other posts earlier than this group, seems likr MSC takes the longest to process biometrics.
Sent to Texas via UPS and case processes in Vermont center.

My wife's application was received in Texas August 4, but still no notification by text or email and the check hasn't been cashed as of 8/18. 😳
From what I have found from the timeline search function, we are approaching the more extreme limit of wait times for people submitting to Texas in the past coupled months.
$595 check cashed this morning, Biometrics one doesnt show yet. At least i know they accepted application!

Hi,
My window to apply opened end of June but just like I see some of you I was too busy to gather everything.
Package sent Friday, Delivered yesterday and cant wait to see those checks cashed.
How long did it take for most of you to get a text confirming acceptance of application?
Thanks

Yup it’s biometrics. March 18th. YSC service center.
Are the biometrics for Removing conditions completed in the same place as when filing AOS if you haven't moved or are there separate locations?
Thank you.

Hi! Thanks for checking in!
Unfortunately i haven't heard anything yet... last i called uscis a week ago and they told me that my file is at rhode island location so i should wait for a letter from them.
Oh that's good news!!! I have to say, the interview was so smooth I almost enjoyed having it.
Just once again, be ready to be called in separately, every single couple went USC first and the foreigner second.

Got my GC today!!
Here is how our interview went at Johnston, RI office one week ago:
scheduled for 10:15am arrived at 9:45am. Room had quite a few single people waiting - every single couple was interviewed separately - USC first with the non citizen second. Husband got called in at 10am and took about 40 minutes which seemed to be taking forever, the room had tv on and was really cold to make you feel uncomfortable I assume. Around 10:40 husband came out and I was interview for about 20 minutes. Husband got asked how did we start dating, when did we get married, who attended the wedding - the interviewer asked while looking at a picture that on the bottom said who was in the picture. Asked if he or I take any vitamins and when husband said that I do he asked where I keep them (this question was never given to me), who lives with us in the house, what trips have we taken, what trips are we planning, we have submitted a lot of receipt from dinner that we do on his day off so he got asked about it and was ages where we went for our 1st anniversary and what did we eat, if we are into wines and etc., how many kids are we planning, are we actively trying. My interview was simple and easy - the IO had an incredible skill of making you feel comfortable and want to share, to every thing I said he had a story back so he made me feel like we are friends. I was asked both of our names, address, date of marriage, how did we meet what did we have on our first anniversary, got asked almost all I-485 questions, also what did I study, if I had met his parents and where they live. Asked about past and future trips.
I think that is all we got asked, at the end he asked me if I have any questions which I said no but he kept saying are you sure? then he explained how removing conditions work and citizenship and said if he has everything he will approve the day or latest next day. We were approved next day and got GC this morning.

Thank you! They did say Boston is so backed up they got a huge amount of cases transferred to them so I really hope your file comes soon and you get your interview!

Hi to you and to everyone following my story. So i went into Johnston office and asked what the hell? And the answer was:
Because Boston office is so busy they transfer cases to Rhode Island however they do not transfer the files and they cannot conduct my interview without my file. They signed off on my letter again and told me to wait for a new date. Apparantly they cant cancel my date online because the main computer is not with them its in Boston and they cant do it. (Which means this will take forever)
P.s my friend was in the same situation and he is now waiting a 3rd month for a second date.
Sorry to hear that... i hope your wait won’t be that long and they send your file soon....
Im thinking maybe mine got cancelled too but i never received the notice.. scared of checking mail everyday..

I just recieved a call. They said they do not have that kind of information in their system. They are putting a request in for the rhode island office and they will email me within 5 days. We will see...
Really hope for you that this is a mistake and your interview will be on the 19th!!! But now it's so close those 5 days (business days) will rake forever and if there is no answer the question is do you go or not...
