Yes we are aware my husband is already here in the states with me

you are not able to get a tax transcript until the tax season closes April 15th. (said by a NVC representative) She needs last three which are 15, 16, and 17. If it makes you feel better you can take copies of 2018 W-2. The financial portion was completed in the NVC stage if you made enough then do not stress this if not then the extra income will help if you made more the yer of 2018.

My husband showed his voter card . He has also said that you should have your passport number and you can get it using that as well! My husband was able to get his visa this week and is now here with me in the States best luck to everyone!

I see your confused lol I havent recieved anything yet thats why I am asking and it has been in issued status for two weeks.

Did anyone actually get a text or a phone call from DHL or the Embassy in Accra (Ghana) when their passport was ready for pickup?  If not what did you do or how did you follow up?

Yes I had a few responses since this post. My husbands interview is soon so we will sit down with a recruiter upon his arrival and hopefully bring some more insight to VJ. 

Tax Transcripts for 2018 will not be needed until after the tax filing due date in April 2019. At this point the latest tax transcript required is 2017. (per NVC Supervisor)

Sorry we had already had all of that completed before the interview date was given but yes you can schedule your appointment at the Akan facility or the other if you choose. I know there is another thread that goes into more detail about the medical.  You will use the letter you received to do your medical and make sure to take passport photo copies. You can also complete your police background check if not already done so.

Congrats! Now just prepare for the interview. All the information you will receive is in that email. There is nothing else to look for other then your actual date!!

See that is what you keep referring to. This has nothing to do with your credibility! This has nothing to do with you let up off of it already this is tiresome and you have way to much time on your hands. I have asked for mine and yet you still insist on pushing....let it go lol I want FIRST HAND TESTIMONIES...if anyone has them...thank you 🙂

All of this is my prerogative...thank you....so if asking for 1st hand experience offends you because you have copied and pasted from the website then that is yours. You can have plenty of years on the internet but me wanting to hear a story of someone who has actually went through the steps instead of googling does no harm at all. If you want to point me to one of these post of first hand Enlistments then that would be helpful if not badgering me is not getting anywhere.

Which means - you need to have 10 YEAR GREEN CARD to join Air Force. 2 year green card is NOT good enough.

If you are in a “conditional” permanent resident alien status based upon your marriage to a United States citizen, you are eligible to DEP and leave for boot camp provided your marital status does not change prior to leaving for boot camp. If before leaving for boot camp, you become legally separated, divorced, or you are unable to locate your spouse, you would no longer enlistment eligible because you would be subject to the potential loss of legal residency status that could lead to deportation. In such cases, you may become enlistment eligible upon USCIS issuance of a standard USCIS I-551 card with an expiration date ten years from the date of issuance. "

 

 

How is it accurate if it is contradicting? How is me asking for first hand experience and not word of mouth me wanting to hear what I want? That makes no sense whatsoever! lol 

The recruiters are not always honest and the internet is not always 100% forth coming either. 

Also you can enter these branches only after you have resided in the US for a year (according to a recruiter). 

The only way to get real answers real time is to ask someone who has been through the situation which is what I am doing. Now if you don't have that then keep scrolling, but thank you for the information I have already read. 

**That bottom portion of boot camp, was told other wise by a recruiter so once again seeking first hand experience***

That is why I am asking for 1st hand experience obviously I do not have it. That is the reason for my question. 

That is not an expiration date for the paperwork. It is an internal exp date for the OHM department (or whatever department is stated above the date)

It can be printed and then rescanned in the computer to be uploaded. However I was able to do my all on the computer.
