Hello everyone, my fiancé has his interview at the Beirut embassy on June 11th, 2018. I am wondering if I can plan ahead and if we can file all the AP forms in advance, therefore if he was to be asked to fill it out, he would already have then available to check. This is such a horrible form of vetting and I want to reduce any chance to receiving this form. If anyone had advice please share! Thank you, and good luck.

Hi all! Received our NOA2 on 3/21 and the packet has been received and is ready at the US Embassy in Beirut. I am just a little confused how to go along with everything else. I need to file DS-160? Pay the fee and not too sure what else. If anyone could offer advice on what to do that would be great! Also I don't make an income because im a student in college, and still live at home. Can my parents be on the I134?

and what you can also do is maybe take a screen shot of your phone with the phone records on what's app and print that out (if it states the dates).

so easy to get is probably passport stamps, a letter that you write on how you met in person and phone bills that state you called....

Thank you! I just don’t have phone records because i spoke to him via my old WhatsApp  I will be sending a picture from our engagement party with the date in the back also. Hopefully that is enough! 

Hi guys just got this from my RFE, not really to sure what to send in. I was thinking baggage tags and passport stamps? Can’t find my old airplane tickets :/ if anyone has advice please share!

Hi guys, got off the phone with tier 2 today. The man I spoke with was very helpful, he told me that my case was in adjuration and has been assigned to an officer, they said about 45 days to hear back... hoping its much sooner being the case was opened 2/20/2018! Has anyone had any thing like this? Any estimates?

Hi everyone, 

Just got off with the phone with a tier 2 rep, asked about my case and she said that on Feb 20th they opened the case, but there has not been a decision made yet. Anyone ever hear of this? Fingers crossed it comes soon!

also @Naes thank you for your help last night, the rep told me not to stress the minor mistake because they will most likely go by the zip code!

theres nothing to do at the moment, and an rfe is nothing to be scared of. It is easily resolvable.

I really really realllllly hope and pray so! Hopefully they notice its the same address as each other things, stupid scroll bar! 

How long to RFE usually take? Will this delay the process? Noa1 was on 8/29/2017, which makes me hope they get to it soon! Hopefully this doesn't affect it to much! TY! 

Hi all! Congrats to new approvals! 

Okay so I decided to go through my papers again to make sure I won't receive and RFE and like the genius I am.... where it asks for where your "beneficiary intends to live in US".... I put the wrong state!! The zip code is for the correct town, and the address is correct everywhere else, its just that one section! HELP! What do I do? 

Can anyone take predictions as to when AUGUST 29th NOA1 will be touched? Congratulations to all the approved cases! So jealous!

hey so first of all really sorry for sounding like that. I realized not many people know how those updates work and may give themselves an accidental heart attack. So a few key points on how to use that app and what is the meaning of what you see.

 

• the dates next to the updates are the latest updated dates

 so for example if it says:

rejected August 30.

It would mean a file filed before  (most likely 3 days before that date) has been rejected back then and won't get an update because it wasn't accepted as a petition it didn't get a notice of acceptance (noa) but got a notice of rejection.

 

• name updated, birth of date updated

can happen at any time and because the status changes from "case received" that wouldn't show their noa1 date.

 

•document was mailed: usually these are cases of re-mailing a document (maybe noa1 or any other update) and they don't have a date on the app, and when we scan it shows a date of 1 month in the future- nothing to worry about.

 

• document returned to uscis: the notice didn't reach to the petitioner (definitely get in touch with uscis

 

•notice of explaining uscis actions: this is mostly a noid, so think it as a really serious rfe.

 

ask me if any other status anyone wants to know about.

those rejected cases are not from August 30, their rejections went out at August 30

 

nobody here can be waiting with a rejected noa1, cause those rejections send out a rejection letter instead of noa1

 

Rejections happen at the very beginning. Not this late in the game.

 

those would be denials and doesn't really happen this way. Now if you don't panic people who don't know much (as well as yourself) that would be nice.

Wasn't aware of that.. wasn't trying to "panic" anyone but thought their cases got rejected... sorry for attempting to look out for others and their cases.

Hi everyone, checked on my phone for approved cases, and looks like a lot of cases on August 31st, 2017 got rejected because of the form is no longer accepter, or because of an incorrect fee. I definitely recommend checking your case so you don't need to wait any longer than you'd have to normally wait!!

I don't know if every country has different regulations and whatnot, but I think I was told once you marry your spouse, they cannot leave the country for a certain amount of time.

I was wondering if anyone can answer my questions...

I filed K1 Visa and received my NOA1 8/29/2017, my fiance is from Lebanon in the Middle East (anyone else file from Lebanon?)

I was curious as to if he is able to come visit on a tourist visa while we wait to hear what the news on his papers. Also, if my fiance comes to USA in April/May... (with hopes his papers got approved and such) can he return back to Lebanon in June if my family and I decide to go? Or will he not be allowed to enter USA again if he already entered on K1?

Also, SO SO annoyed with USCIS, was hoping to know what was going on with his papers by now. Do you guys think being that he is from a country in the Middle East it was take longer to approve his papers?
