  1. HELP!!!

My wife entered the United States on April 19, 2018, We had an amazing wedding the end of June (30th).  We went to the Social Security Administration office on July 26th to get my wife a SSN after we received the Marriage Certificate and I was able to get off work; this way we could get her married name on her SSN.  I didn't realize the Admit Until Date is also considered an Expiration Date for SSA, I thought she had to be in the country and married within 90 Days.  Because the ADMIT DATE on the I-94 was 07/17/2018 the Social Security Administration would not issue her a SSN because they are saying the I-94 is expired.  I can't add her to my checking account, I can't add her as my beneficiary in case I die without a SSN.  Can anyone advised what type of document I need to request and who I need to request it from?  I don't want to wait another 6 months until she gets a Green Card to get her a Social Security Number!  I am in Law Enforcement, anything is possible and I want her to be taken care of financially if something happens to me.  Thank you in advance!!!!

  2. I have just experienced it first hand.  We received our NOA1 in August 3rd of 2017, received our NOA2 February 22nd of 2018.  She just had her interview in Manila yesterday (March 22, 2018) and her Visa was issued today (March 23rd).  She should receive her Visa in 7-10 days.  It says to wait at least a week in between Medical and Interview.  She scheduled her Medical for Monday the 19th, finished Tuesday the 20th and interview was Thursday the 22nd and lasted about 20 minutes.

  3. You are correct that Verizon will provide lost text messages with a Court Order but Viber is a private application and the text messages do not go through Verizon.  We lost some of our conversations as well through Viber and we did not try to receive them.  My name is [edited out] and you can reach out to me on Facebook and I will provide you with my cell number and we can chat more if you would like.  I live in Northern Kentucky and my fiance is from the Philippines as well.  I will be meeting her in LA on April 19th to finally bring her back.  Our process started on July 2017 and she was just issued her K1 Visa on Thursday the 22nd and hopefully she will have it in hand in the next 7-10 days.

  4. Hooray, we are getting so much closer to reality, we have finally received our MNL number from the National Visa Center!!!!!  We are both so very excited that this journey is finally happening!!!!!!!!

    P. S.  I don't know how or see where I can update my timeline so I am assuming that is done by VisaJourney.  Obviously Maricris or I have never done this before but the long wait is well worth it!!!!

  5. My fiance and I are both very frustrated, we both continue to check USCIS and I continue to check the mail in the hopes of receiving our NOA2.  Our NOA1 date was August 3rd, I notice there are many recipients with a later date than ours who have already received their NOA2 but I also notice there are many NOA1 filers before me with no additional info posted in VJ.  I would like to hear something but I don't want to complain and rock the boat with the USCIS by inquiring and causing a red flag by possibly being a complainer and making it more difficult for us to be together.  I have been in Law Enforcement for over 30 years so there isn't much to check on me; I would like to hear something even if it is an RFE.  VJ said after February 18th I should consider contacting USCIS; give us your thoughts, how much longer should we wait before I try to contact USCIS?  Any and all recommendations and comments are welcome!!!!

    Thanks,

    Phil & Maricris

  6. I am happy for anyone and everyone who is approved or so desperately waiting to be approved.  I am just curious how someone can submit their I129F the same date as me for a Filipina and receive their NOA1, their NOA2, and get their interview and be approved before I even get my NOA2; the only difference I can see is they live inCalifornia!!!!  They were through the I129A process and approved in 99 days and through the interview process in 184 days!!!  I just want to know if it helps to know someone high up in USCIS or live in the state you are processed in since they were also sent to California just as I was?  Again, I am overly excited and thrilled for them but there are many cases that are waiting even longer than I have been waiting just to receive their NOA2.

Thank you in advance for any comment on this topic!!!

  7. I filed my paperwork in late July after corresponding with Maricris for many months and finally meeting my dream in June, we spent almost three amazing weeks together 24 hours a day and we had a great time. .  I finally received my NOA1 on August 03, 2017 and we are so excited to receive our NOA2.    I have been back to the Philippines in October for two weeks and then I did a surprise visit for two weeks in late December and we spent New Years together.  As long as the government doesn't shut down we are hoping our NOA2 will arrive sometime this week.  We are both so excited and looking forward to being reunited in the USA.  My birthday is April 6th and we are hoping the remaining process will go smooth and my beautiful fiance will arrive sometime in March!!!!!!!!!!!!  SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
