  1. We were approved 8/6 and our status went to administrative processing two days ago.  We are hearing about Visas being approved already on our date or after and we haven’t heard anything.  Does anyone know how long from the interview it’s taking currently and could there be an issue?  Thank you.

Hello, just want to know from your K! visa (Philippines) experiences. When did you received your Visa Packet from the date of your approved visa interview?

Although the Consular Officer informed me that it would take 2 - 3 weeks, but then some have their visa packet even after 8 days. Just a bit excited!

    Thank you.

Congratulations and you must have been there with my fiancé as she was approved as well and I was going to just ask the same thing!  At the CFO most told my fiancé they had it in 4-5 days so we are crossing our fingers too.

SLEC doesn't ask for a copy of the DS-160 confirmation page anymore.   Only the embassy will want that.

I know it’s really odd they said to bring it.  They wrote it down for her to bring on the back of her paperwork.  Maybe a new requirement?

No ds160  required during medical.Just your previous medical or vaccine records if u had, take it with u during your medical examination day. and money to pay for it :-)

It’s so strange.  They asked my fiancé to bring her DS-160 confirmation tomorrow.

Many have done this. Check CEAC or here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do If your cases hasn't arrived (which I doubt will happen) you just change the date out another couple of weeks.

Get Hank's handy dandy what do I do next answer sheet here for all things in what to do or how things work for the interview at USEM. Hurry up and get a copy as it's free now and we don't know when he'll become a cheapskate and charge.

This will answer most of your questions.

Thank you for this and also everything you do for these forums.  We have been using these two resources religiously and I don't know what we would have done without them.  Like other posts in this forum we have found hiring an attorney was a waste of $2000 as the information in these forums and Hanks site are so much better and accurate then what they are telling us.  They told us not to do anything until we received the letter from the embassy (useless information).  The only thing they were really good for was to be a second set of eyes on the petition (which honestly they found some errors  which did somewhat make it worth it).  Checking NVC daily but good to know the average right now is 2 weeks so we will cross our fingers.  Thank you again everyone.  While I haven't posted much I read daily.

  6. We scheduled out interview and I'm worried maybe we did it a little too early.  We are scheduled for August 7th to have the interview.  The petition was received on July 19th and NVC number issued July 20th.  Has anyone recently done this or have experience with timing?  That would be 3 weeks from when it was issued to get to the embassy.  We are going to do Medical and CFO this week.  Thank you   Greg

Thanks I tried this evening but only got the automated operator. Will try again tomorrow .

This is odd.  I have two phones.  When I tried on the phone that I didn’t use on my application it told me to call back when they were open but they were open.  When I tried on my other phone right after that is registered on my application it worked.  Not sure if it’s related.

    hi december filers!

i wanted to ask a few questions:

    1. any december 21, 2017 received date  filers here?  (i was considering to make a little group chat in facebook for that specific group of filers where uscis recieved their case on that date, since i noticed that uscis is processing k1 visas by their received date based on the august and september filers which i follow).

    2. then any december 2017 (manila embassy) filers here? (i was also considering to make a little group chat in facebook for those specific people who share the same embassy as me so we could update each other there for like current times and procedures and specific experiences at specific officec like cfo, slc and usem there).

    @Naes
hey naes, i knew i could see it before, but now not so sure how i ended up there or if i remember correctly. but i wanted to like check how many dec 21, 2017 filers are there. i asked you since you usually do that table thingy where you had the number of people who filed on that day. so i kinda have an idea how many i'm gonna be sharing that date with. always nice to be able to support each other specially when the date is coming closer.

We are December 26 filers and out of Manila also.  We have been mostly just watching updates but getting excited about how it's moving faster now.  My fiance is in QC.
