Alright, we will be mailing our additional documents tomorrow. What do you guys think?

    - copy of our driver’s licenses

    - copy of my military spouse ID

    - plane tickets with all our names

    - geico insurance with our names

    - my life insurance with both our names

    - screenshots of my tricare health insurance with both our names on it

    - tricare explanation of benefits letter

    - DoD eligibility for Tricare

    - screenshots of my bank account (my husband transfers money to my savings account twice a month)

    - taxes 2015-2018 (we file jointly)

    - property tax 2018

    - home insurance with both our names

    - home warranty with both our names

    - delta title corporation for our house with both our names on it

    - affidavits from his grandparents and hopefully from his chief

    - copy of orders

This should be enough? Also we don’t have a joint bank account and my name is not on any utility bill.

and all of this is not going to fit in the envelope they provided. Can i use a different envelope and put theirs in the other one with all the documents?

Make sure to send the the transcripts for your tax returns. All of this should be enough. Did you initially include the title for your house? I would think joint ownership of a house wouldn't have got you a RFE.

Even visajourney sent me an email - your approval estimate is past due😂  i am starting a new job in 3 weeks.. hope something by then... when i started my current job they didnt know about the letter and ended up moving my start date so i lost two months of benefits.. thanks uscis

This is what I sent to my wife's HR Dept and it cleared things up. You need the expired Greencard, extension letter and a government ID like a driver's license.

I have attached chapter 7.1 from the USCIS Hanbook for Employers (M-274) that verifies the documents she has submitted are sufficient for employment. The entire handbook is here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/handbook-employers-m-274

The most relevant portions are here:

Employees must be allowed to choose which document(s) they will present from the Lists of Acceptable Documents. You cannot specify which document(s) an employee must present. Employees who attest to being an LPR in Section 1 may choose to present a List A document (such as a Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551) or a List B and List C document combination

The combination of an expired Permanent Resident Card and a Form I-797, Notice of Action, that indicates that the card is valid for an additional year, is an acceptable List C evidence of employment authorization for one year as indicated on Form I-797. At the end of the one-year period, you must reverify.

So the combination of her unexpired Texas driver’s license (Type B document) and the Greencard + Extension Letter (Type C) satisfy the requirements of the employment eligibility. The USCIS is really backed up so every single person who has a marriage green card gets one of these letters while the case is processed.

Is it odd that I've not heard one word about my I-751 (VSC) since the extension letter?

No transfer, no RFE... Just radio silence. My case status update still says "unable to provide any update" and I just get generic still-within-the-processing-time updates during calls with tier 2 officers.

It's not. We are in the same boat. On one hand, it's a bummer that we see people who submitted months after us being approved. On the other, that's why we have an extension until October. I'm not going to get concerned until around August.

Hello Everyone I just wanted to say thanks for this helpful site and everyone who contributes to it. From the beginning of the K1 process till the removal of conditions I've been utilizing this site resources. I wanted to contribute to this thread that my spouse and I filed for her removal of conditions on January 2018 at the California service center.  After following this thread and finding out that many have been approved already, I've been fearing and dreading of getting RFE's because of not seeing or getting any updates on the old case status site nor the new dhs site. Finally yesterday I got a text randomly saying that there was an update to our Case WAC180765***  so I went to check the case status site and to my surprise it said April 17,2019 New card is being produced. So the wait is finally over and one stress is done with.  Thanks to All and hope everyone good luck, as we all know how long of a journey this process is.

We are also in the WAC180765*** range. Hopefully we hear something soon. Congrats!

nope i wasnt its been sitting on the stack since they received it 😂 I filed in on 31st Dec :P

I was preparing for RFE documents thinking I might get one, cos I was in between everyone while the others get RFE and approvals except mine

Congrats. We're still waiting and I'm betting on a RFE when we hear anything.

I got the same email like you. It said "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on January 22, 2019." Does anyone get this email ?

That was ours but the last action date was in October of 2018 which is (I believe) they sent us the 18 month extension. Maybe them taking action on Jan 22nd is a good thing?

  7. Different people have reported being told different things by immigration officials. Some will combine the removal and immigration interviews, some will make you wait until the removal process is complete. Some people have said that filing the 400 could delay the 751. It's hard to know what is the case. We elected to just play it safe and wait until we have the 10 year green card to apply for citizenship.
