Yes exactly. Why would they send me an RFE if I send my AOS package before 15 th of April?

Why the deadline is 15 th of April if the taxes need to be filled earlier? And why to send a package later . As I have said , that is the worst time to send a AOS package as they ask what we can’t provide yet .

They want to see the most current tax filing.

If you can provide it great if not then send it in and see what they say...

Worst case scenario is you will get an RFE just like me.

I filed taxes sent it in and my AOS was back on track.

  3. This post might be getting a little out of hand.

The advice has already been given, maybe this needs to be locked and filed.

No one case is the same and no one CO thinks the same so just be prepared, the burden is on you to prove the relationship is legitimate.

USCIS will make their decision based on what they see in front of them and that is all.

If you feel you have enough proof then great, just sit back and wait for the interview, if not then continue to prepare.

This forum is great and filled with many people that is willing to help with the experiences that they have.

Thanks, everybody. Other questions: Did you 2-hole punch everything? And is it OK to highlight/circle/underline important info on forms?

We simply used paper clips to separate the forms  / documents and we stuffed everything into the USPS envelope.

Do not highlight, circle, or underline official forms., use black or blue ink to fill it out or type it on the computer.

According to my case, on the 10th my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview but I haven't gotten the work/ap card

March 2018 filer here, we received EAD prior to getting interview scheduled, we did not receive AP.
