  1. So Ive moved to America on a K-1 Visa on April 18, 2018, and I got married on May 1, 2018! Im now working on the I-485 and i'm confused if i'm supposed to do another Affidavit of Support I-864? Can I use the ones from the Consulate interview or not?

Also to make things more difficult, I have a co-sponser as well.. So do they have a co-sponser form as well?

This is NOT true! You just need the certified marriage certificate which shows the name change at the bottom. Well that's at least where it is in California marriage certificates. I had an immigration consultant look over my AOS package and I was told this was acceptable and normal. No other proof was necessary or required.

IN Washington state I wanna as i was I have to write my maiden name on the marriage certifuca

My fiance did not get any papers.  At the end of the interview (20-25 minutes), the CO simply said something like "You can leave now.  We will review all of your documentation, and we will let you know what the decision is."

Have you heard anything. If you dont receive anything that usually means they need to review it more!

Anyone have experience being able to drive when coming to the US.  In my state as long as you have valid Drivers lic and international permit, you can drive.  The problem is how can I obtain liability insurance for my fiancé?  My insurance company says I cannot add her until she has a valid driver's license, which maybe we can obtain the first day or two, but I am not sure.  Just wondering if anyone has been able to accomplish this.  I don't want her having to stay home all day while I am at work if it takes more than a few days to get the license.

you can handing in her current drivers license and apply for one in the state you live in. they just ask for your driving records and a proof of address in the us.

    Medical exam soon 😟

Going to Surrey? I had mine last week going to pickup the sealed package today!! It was the quickest doctor exam ive ever had. It frustrating cause they make you drive down 6 blocks to finish and get your labs done and x-ray done at a different place. I arrived at 9am didn't head home till 12:30pm.. long day.. of just waiting to be called up. Good luck!!

Any Canadians planning on importing a vehicle at POE? I'm just starting to research it and it seems daunting. Thoughts?

Easy. I’m doing it through the Aldergrove border in bc.

Check for two stickers inside the drivers door and in the engine saying it was made in NOrth America. If it’s not then you gotta get a letter from the manufacturer

Then when you drive it accross the border you just gotta say you wanna import your car it’s free and then you fill out paperwork.

Can someone help me with this whole police certificate thing :( I'm from ontario and I have no idea where I'm supposed to go or what exactly I'm supposed to be asking for or need is it just a criminal record check? Or is it something different.. I'm getting very frustrated with all this..

its different. just go to your police station and ask for a police-certificate. they will know what you mean.
