    Hello everyone,

My interview is scheduled for March 10th and I am slowly preparing my documentation.
I was surprised with @Balaji_v comment about officer asking for 751 notification.. I totally would not take that with me as it's not listed as a document to bring but now I will.

Another thing I heard they might be asking for is tax return transcript so I got those prepared as well.
For those who are applying through marriage, are you bringing original spouse's birth certificate/naturalization certificate?

Also, are you bringing any more documents as proof of your marriage, like joint bank account etc?

Thank you and good luck everyone!

Hello..yes I took all original and copies with me.i know we submitted all documents when we applied but in case officer want to see.remember all important dates/no.

    Wishes you all the best.

Had n400 interview yesterday in Norfolk VA and it was approved.

    questions asked included:

    - who is the governor of your state?

    - who was the president during WWII?

    - what is an amendment?

Pretty straightforward and officer was easy going and friendly.

They said they were backed up in their oath taking and due to COVID, were not doing same-day oath unless military deploying the next day.

He explained theres usually 90 people they swear in but because of COVID, they've lowered it to 12 per ceremony.

I'll probably have to go back in a couple of weeks to swear in.

    Almost done!

Congratulations 🎉 so is your oath ceremony is at same place Norfolk?

  3. If the President no longer serve...last one I forget.

After that I'm reading on tablet who was Ibraham Lincoln and write down the answer Lincoln was our. President during the civil war.honestly this is the hardest part for me to use my finger on tablet.

Than she asking me almost all no/yes questions.

And than about our constitution.combat/non combat service.and than at the end some personal questions about family husband.at the end I signed on tablet.than she give me a paper and said I am sending your application for approval 😀

Hi guys. So I received an email from USCIS about 4 days ago saying "We have taken an action on your case.  Sign in to your account to view your case status" but every time I checked my USCIS account, I don't see any updates in the "Case Status" or "Documents" sections. So I decided to send them a message today through https://myaccount.uscis.gov from my inbox, 15 minutes later I received an email saying Interview was scheduled. I don't know if it was the message I sent that triggered the response or if it was a total coincidence but I would say it's worth a try if you need answers.

    Applied - April 15th
    Interview - December 20th

Hello it's good that you're Case has progress.can you explain me where's the inbox in our account?

I applied in July and got to interview in September and took an oath on the same day, think I was pretty lucky everything moved so quickly! I applied for the passport soon after using my certificate of naturalization. A month after I sent in application, the passport agency sent me a letter saying that my certificate is not sealed and I will need to resubmit within 90 days. Called USCIS, they won't be able to seal it at the office and I may need to submit a request for a replacement, which may take up to 1 year. I know my issue is not related to the this forum but make sure your certificate has the official seal! They only asked me to make sure the written information is correct but not the seal (only got watermarks).

Sorry to hear that...I appreciate your recognition.

It’s funny how USCIS process these N400s, I applied online May 14th 2021 under 5yrs residency and completed my biometric on 09/09/2021 and since then it says my case is being actively reviewed. Field office is Denver, Colorado and my case is being processed at NBC Kansas.

Hello.how you knows your case is being processed at Kansas?

Just got my biometrics appointment notice. Received a text at 6:30 this morning. Biometrics appointment on Oct 15th. I actually expected a quicker turnaround time for the biometrics; but I suppose it isn't out of the ordinary to get a notice a few months after submitting the N-400. At least it's progress. :)

Congrats.when you first apply did you get any biometric reuse notice or not.after seeing your update I am hoping to get some update also.

Thank you. I sent a Payment agreement between Me and the IRS, I owed some money and was making payments on my own, but they wanted to see something official. I did everything online and was very fast actually. During the interview, the officer told me to submit the evidence there (online) because it goes faster and they can start working the case sooner.

    Thanks for reply.
