That is the site to watch. I'm not sure what you are inputting though because when I just input "I485" and "Sacramento" and scrolled to the bottom to look at processing times for family based applications it states 10.5 to 24.5 months. That's an average wait time too. Not a fast one but not a slow one either.

The only problem with using VJ stats is they only reflect VJ members who actually update their timeline and input their local field office. Also VJ members are only a small percentage of all filers. VJ members represent less than 1% of all filers so you have to take that into consideration too.

I'm going to go access the VJ Sacramento AOS filers timelines and try to explain how to access it to you. Brb.

Thank you so much for helping me with this and apologies for the confusion. I initially input California instead of putting Sacramento :(. I will also look through the previous posts here in this forum as suggested by other members here. Thank you all for your help!

Hi October 2018 filers! I'm wondering if any of you guys have interview schedules already or had AOS application approved? My status has been 'Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview' since November 2018. It's been 4 months now and still no interview appointment.

Also, do you guys have any ideas which filers are getting AOS approval at the moment? I'm from California and I understand it varies from different states.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey! My local field office is Fresno and mine was scheduled on March 20, my receipt date is oct 1. I’m filing from B2 to 10 year perm resident.

Hi, thanks for that! That sounds good. My receipt date is Oct 6 so I'm hoping I'd receive mine soon as well. However, I'm filing from K-1; Fiance Visa, so it's possible that the processing time could be different. Hoping to get more info from the October 2018 filers here! :)

Knowing over believing is much better.

Input your Zipcode here please and tell me what it says. Then I can show how to look up your processing times.

Thank you for the link. Yes, it states Sacramento. I've used this other link to check my processing time: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ . It indicates that it's 11.5- 45.5 months. I think the 1-4 years estimate is just too vague so I'm hoping to get more real time answers here in this forum, especially those in which Sacramento is there LFO. I used the 'Immigration Timeline' here but I don't see a lot in Sacramento (or I might just not be using the timeline correctly :) ) .

  6. Hi everyone. I am new to this thread and this question may have been answered already. My case is still in transit to UK Embassy since May 18. I am wondering if I can complete the DS-160 already? What else can I do while I'm waiting? I'm just a little bit confused because I've read on some threads that in the Philippines, they can actually already book their medical once they obtain their case number, but may be different in the UK?

    Thank you for your help.

Thank you, everyone, I feel like we are a big family that's why  I want to share this good news with you too. Thank you for everyone who asks informative questions, who keep telling approvals are coming keep calm, who is answering every question even though it has been answered dozen time, who is scanning and giving information about current status. Thank you, everybody. I wish all of the members this approval feeling very soon (like today-tomorrow soon). I am attaching our timeline FYI

NOA1: October 12 (Old System) [October 16 new system]

    NOA2: April 11(181 days)

First we received an email from the old system and after all the tracking apps gave the notification. The new system still shows received.

congratulations! may I ask which old system are you referring to? Could you please provide me a link to this? Thank you !

My fiancé and I have been in a relationship for 11 years now and we are looking forward to celebrating the next chapter of our lives together after being apart for more than a decade.

My fiancé and I first met in 2006 when we were in high school in the Philippines. We were initially friends and became official as a couple in January 2007. Our long distance relationship began not long after we became a couple. Four months later, May of  2007, I had to move to the United Kingdom to live with my family. Throughout the years, our ways of communication evolved from mailing each other love letters, international prepaid phone calls, text messaging,  and various social media platforms such as Yahoo Messenger, Friendster, Skype, Facebook,  and now Facetime - making things a little easier.

The next time we met  after I left  Philippines in 2007 was in  March 2010 when I attended his graduation there. I still couldn't believe how we managed not seeing each other for 3 long years! Well I guess, love does conquer all!

He was then petitioned by his parents to the US in 2012 and  in  August of that year I came to visit him in California. Again, another 2 years of not seeing each other! I was still studying at university then and both of us didn't really have enough money to see each  other as often as we would like to. However, when I graduated in 2014, got a job and he became a RN in the US, we were able to go on holidays together and see each other more often than we used to - which is twice a year! Still not a lot, I know.

When he became a US citizen in August 2017, we couldn't wait to file for the K1 visa. We know that this would be another long journey. It's another test of patience, but I pray that someday, we will be together. We waited for 11 years to be able to just file a petition for K1 visa and I guess a couple of months won't hurt that much.

For everyone who's patiently waiting,  please remember that this is the final test of patience. You're almost there - we are almost there. <3
