Hello

Parents arrived on B1/B2 recently and this was stamped on their passport. The class until and i94 online exit dates are same i.e 6 months but the Cbp officer also wrote 2 months with a pen. What does this mean? Can they stay for 6 months or 2 months?

I am also wondering why they are rejecting English nikah Nama and insisting for Urdu nikah Nama for the third time even after I left explanation quote while uploading at ceac website.  

You’re suppose to write an explanation letter, not a explanation quote.

ours was rejected the first time and then we were told by the nvc staff to re-upload the English nikkah Nama with an explanation letter.

we did that and our English nikkah Nama was accepted.

They just asked few easy questions and checked few of the documents .. Alhamdulilah this long journey is over for me!!

sorry for late response. there were many mistakes made by their intern in DS-260 form submission and it was an awful experience of making over dozen of mistakes. But attorney made a letter of corrections to the NVC by highlighting these mistakes and corrections and stating that these mistakes were occurred by them unintentionally.

finally my wife’s case is approved and she came here 2 days ago. My PD was feb 10th  2019 and she got her first interview In October 2019 we were waiting since then. Last year in September 2020 I decided to file mandamus and as expected she got call from Islamabad embassy for the second time in December 15th. She got her passport back in a week with CR-1 visa. 

All my brothers and sister who got stuck more then 8 months after the first interview, go ahead and file mandamus. I know if pricey but it’s worth it. other wise they will keep you waiting for years.

do you know why was she put in AP in the first place? Any travel history, second marriage, age gap, documents missing etc?

Do you know why were you places in AP? Document missing, travel history, age gaps etc?

Don’t worry, IA you’ll be issued soon. 
Just keep an eye on the date changes, if it does, that’s a good sign

What reason did they give for RFE & returning the case?

You can inquire about your case status by doing an emailing them an inquiry
