Congrats! Hope you get your interview date soon! My husband is also from the DR and my scan date is just a few days after yours so hoping for a CC and interview date soon! Good luck

Congrats! My scan date is also March 7th, I hope I will get a CC soon! Hopefully you will hear next week on your interview date, they usually schedule them at the end of the month. Good luck!

From what I've seen they schedule them the last week of the month through the first week of the month. Hopefully you hear something next week!

My scan date is 3/7/18, I think we should be getting our CC soon. It seems they are taking around 3 weeks and I saw someone yesterday with a scan date of 3/1 and someone else with 3/2 get their CC's. Good luck!  

My husband has two friends in the DR that just had their interviews within the last few months and neither of them had their spouse come to the interview and everything went fine. However my lawyer said that anytime an embassy says it's optional for the spouse to come, she strongly suggests the spouse to go and has told me I should go so I plan to go even if it's not required. 

I got about 90% complete with the form and it only took me about an hour to complete but my lawyer had given me a copy of it so we had it filled out by hand, which made it easier to enter everything. We also filled out an intake form at the beginning of all of this for our lawyer, which had a lot of the information on it. It is mostly information about the immigrant spouse, their parents, ex-spouses, children, work information for the last 10 years and school information. And a lot of security questions you just answer NO to. 

Thank you for the explanation. It's so frustrating how inconsistent everything is with this process. Wishing you good luck getting your interview date soon. I will look forward to your update when you get the date. 

Mine was sent to NVC on 1/24, on 1/31 I received verbal confirmation they received it and it was received that day. She told me I should hear within 2 weeks on the case number. I plan to call back on Wednesday, as it will be a week since they received it to see if the case number has been assigned.  Hope that helps!

Congrats!!! We were also May 8th PD and got approved 1/16, got notified online yesterday   So happy for everyone, we can all go to the NVC together!

Thank you so much! Such a long and emotionally draining process...I'm so thankful to see a small hope to the end of this and to finally be together with my husband for good! It sucks we all have to go through this but I know it will be worth it in the end!
