Also randomly, I remember thinking my fiance and me would get an RFE due to no letter of intent to marry within our petition. Due to the fact we done no research at all we had already made plans for the wedding...
For our proof of intent to get married, we put in our contracts with the Wedding Venue, Videographer and Photographer, all for our given wedding date.
Wedding venue, invitation card or contract with the weeding decorator or photographers is fine.
No need for intent to marry letter.
I our own case we have invitation card printed and attached to our petition but the date on it expires March 10th so therefore they require additional evidence from my fiancee abroad to write a letter and sent it to them through me that he would marry me when he get here, so we he wrote it and he signed and I also signed to show we are both in agreement with everything he wrote and we send it to them.
So either weeding invitation or booking of halls, photographers for the weeding or letter of intent.
Either of the above is sufficient.

My RFE and the other ladies took about 8 days from "RFE Received" to "Approval. The longest I have seen on here is between 14-15 days. It will happen @Highzik what was your RFE for ? SHould be any day now~
My rfe is "letter of intent to marry" that's all.

You actually can't submit an inquiry because your case is touched since you recieved an RFE and it's typically a 60 days wait but you will definitely hear back either this week or next week i am very certain of that
Don't worry! Depending on the seriousness of the RFE it shouldn't be too long.
Well if you received rfe of "initial evidence" it will take up to that time because you didn't complete all your documents so you have to queue again.
But if your rfe was "additional evidence" is either the evidence you sent expires like (weeding invitation) or they want more document like (more pictures) added to the one you submitted then I will only take 7days to 3 weeks.

Yea would really like to know what are they doing.
Yeah when I call the lady she actually confirm that they have some setbacks, and further say they are in October right now.
Meaning the set back of October is being processed now before they fully move on.

Please can anyone help me?
When I didn't see my rfe on time I request for another one, but two days latter it was delivered.
But now uscis have taken the case up and sent me another rfe a day after the first one I received was delivered.
Are they going to send me another copy again.....because I have already submitted the first one and on their website it's says response received on 1st and on 2nd I also received rfe possibly my request when it was not delivered on time.
So should I call them to say they shouldn't worry about sending it again that it was delivered or just wait for the same copy to come in.....in which am afraid it will take more of our time.

I don't know!!
I feel like I cant breathe. I really hate this process. I cant do it.
Hummmmmm.....if you have applied before and denied or maybe your fiancee information in his home country is difficult to get.....
Because they will need to know his past records, so this can slow the process a little bit.

Hey guys, i am not from this month filler just applying, but i posted a question and havnt gotten aswer maybe one of you can help please?
I am petitioner and i visited my home country for 2 months to visit my family and fiancee. Do i need to write adress abroad in last 5 year physical adresses or should 2 months visit is just a visit.
What u guys did? Thank u so much
Anywhere you have lived in the past five years, and living there have to be more than 6 month.
So therefore anywhere you live 5yrs ago and you didn't stay for more than 6 month than it doesn't count.

Wow this is awesome! I can't imagine life in Japan but it's great that you decided to help people here (work) and offer some guidance to those feeling a bit lost or clueless. It's also good that you know your anxiety triggers and have used communicating/helping in the forums as a relaxation skill... keep up the good work!☺
You have the most awesome quality in the world......and that's what the Bible says......

My fiance and I have been waiting for over a year. We applied last year in February after we were officially engaged. But we hadn't seen each other in more than three years. Last time I saw him was when I met him in 2013 in London. We kept in touch. Long story short, things happened we didn't officially decide to get married until 2016. My mistake going to a lawyer, she told me it wasn't a big deal if we didn't see each other within 2 years. That we can just show it's because of cultural hardships etc. And I didn't want to delay applying because I've never even heard of this so called fiance Visa. Anyways, we've been through this process before and we were denied in September last year. Obviously within the time we applied and after I visited him twice. So instead of spousal thinking its still the quickest route we refiled. Although I am maintaining a positive attitude, it sucks... I wish this was over. I just want him here or anywhere seriously so we can think about starting a family..
Rant over lol
Just wanted to share.
And thanks so much for the love!! You are all great and I hope we are all with our better half soon
🎼 queen Sarac sarac whatever will be will be your approval is coming soon queen Sarac sarac your is here 🎼🎼. @Sarac9

The person on the phone and the adjudicator has no connection whatsoever. So I can firmly say it has no connection.
they won’t suddenly pull a case just because someone says oh they’re touching cases after me...if that was the case we wouldn’t have people from other months waiting.
+1 (800) 375-5283 I called this number.

I didn’t think it would work like that, but I am considering calling in hopes to hear if my case has been assigned yet. Trust me as this process continues my hope becomes very cautious
For example, if you have a problem with your account in the bank and you call the customer care number......who do you think will notify the person responsible to take action on your account?

When you log on it should say "we received your case on ..." that is the case you go by. The day (which should be the farther date) is your submitted,
i'm an october 19th filer with a submitted date of the 23rd
I am 19th too and I called today telling them some 25th and other dates behind me have been approved, but the lady put m on hold and check and say don't worry you will hear from us soon.....and 5 hours later I got an update of RFE.
You might need to call them because they might want you to.....just to verify if your relationship is still on.

Did you say you got the RFE in the mail or from the update? The RFEs they are sending out are just "silly" .. ugh.. ! I promise to relax
I got it from the update...... Some hours after calling them
Yet to arrive in mail I think....tho haven't checked.

Here is the logic all petition depends on the desk it was.....it might be on the desk of a person that is so lazy that he or she will not go through more than 10 to 15 petitions on a day.
And on the other hand a petiton might fall on the desk of a person who is hard working and God fearing wanted to do his or her job to let people be with thier loved ones.
In short all petitions end time is 7 month so if your petiton is more than 7 month it will be advise able to call and ask about your petiton... Why because that is how the uscis will know that a certain petition is not yet attended to from who ever your petition is assigned to.
So as the help record your complain they will quickly check for you who is in charge of your petiton.
Though they might give you an answer that we are on it but really after they end the call they will call or send a mail to the person in charge of your petiton why this petiton is taking time.
So it's advice to keep calling and asking all about your petiton not only looking at other petition been approved and your is not because the person going through your petition might be different.
Good evening.
