I'm in California.  My I-485 has been stuck at "Fingerprint fee received".

I highly doubt we would get RFE's at this point.  They seem to be issued within a month after the biometrics.  My philosophy so far has been that "no news is good news", but now I'd like some good news for all of us!!

I want you all know that I LITERALLY just got off the phone with USCIS and they have shared the tracking number with me for my Combo Card, this is exactly how I am right now;

Hello folks!

We finally completed our interview yesterday. The officer was pretty nice and asked us basic relationship questions (how we met, who proposed to whom, etc). At the end of the interview our officer stated that we were approved and that we should get the provisional G.C. in 7 to 10 business days.

I'm happy the process is almost over but won't celebrate until I have the card in hand.
 
As a side note, the online status has not changed from "interview scheduled".

Well, I finally have some good news to share with you guys - my EAD approval notice arrived in the mail yesterday! Oddly enough, case status still hasn't been updated... Took them 173 days. Almost twice as long as the normal processing time! Still don't have an interview scheduled, but the EAD was really my biggest concern and I'm just happy that part is over with. Waiting for the card now! Good luck to those still waiting - if I got mine, I'm pretty sure you're getting yours any time now!

Agreed. This defeats the purpose of EAD. Of course, their goal of discouraging foreign workers is fully accomplished, as I have seriously considered leaving for Canada/Australia! I am a PhD and my wife is MD and this is NOT what we had in mind after all those years of graduate/medical school and residency/postdoc training.

Good morning guys, I finally got some good news - my EAD card was approved, approval notice was sent out yesterday in the mail and my I-485 is now in que for ready to be scheduled for an interview.  It appeared that the Senator's Office enquiry helped. There is still no new updates on my online status, it remains the same.

I don't think we will get a RFIE because RFIE come within a month or maximum 2 months but a RFE can come a week before interview as well. Even if I do get a RFE I can send it in 1-2 days

Hey @mushroomspore! We have the same PD. Which state are you in, and is your case "ready to be scheduled"?

Received two approval notices today AP and EAD. Hopefully the card will come soon in the mail.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to further validate that USCIS is not updating their system online. My online file had not been updated since my NOA1 on Sept. 7th ( I filed on August 30th), however, two approval notices showed up in my mailbox today. Have faith everyone! 
 
I know this topic was covered somewhere in the feed but I forget what I read...did someone say it took them three weeks to get their card from approval?

Still no EAD
