We were documentary qualified June 28, and are waiting as well. Our friends had their interview July 16. It took them 3 weeks from being doc qualified to get their interview date. I think things are really backed up :( I called today and was on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes just to hear that there is nothing they can tell me. We will be notified once a date becomes available.

I did! I got a response this morning. It took them 2 days to get back to me, that's really quick. They didn't say we were denied, but that the US Consulate could not expedite our case and that NVC would continue working with me...
Is it their language for a standard denial? :/

That's my hope too. The agent put in a request to his supervisor so my case number is generated but even that he said might not be done in 2 days (was wishing to call back on friday...). It seems that they will do that when you've been waiting 8 weeks. Sigh.
This process is the most challenging thing I've ever done in my life... It feels like my patience and resilience will be beyond human after all of this lmao

I just did... I didn't have to ask for a supervisor, the agent put in a request right away. Seems like I will need to start calling regularly.
Would you mind explaining the concept of pivot cases? I had never heard this one before!

Our PD is August 4th and we have not received our NOA2... Sooooooooo... It's a little too soon. It's an emotionally difficult process to say the least.

I am thinking about you guys! I am currently visiting my husband until next week and while my heart will break when I head back, it's so so good to see each other. Hopefully you all get your I-130 approved soon!
