We finally got approved for our EAD this past Thursday! Received an email from the uscis dhs account..it did NOT update on the app nor did it update on the case status uscis website. So freaking useless, all these months checking that stuff and it doesnt even update!  

Hope to get the EAD in the mail this week, how long did it take you guys once the status changed to approved?

130 days and counting 😡

We just scheduled our interview!! May 16th!!! So excited

for k1, we sent in our packet 3 list by email as soon as our status changed to ready and the consulate emailed us back saying we were ready to book our interview. there were available dates. we did have to do it ourselves

Did anyone else have issues booking the interview? I find everything so contradictory...in the case status check it says Ready and i'm now able to book the interview but then it says the NVC books it for me?!

We tried paying the fee and booking the interview anyway and it says no appointments available check back in a few days. UGH!

AND we tried to book the medical in Montreal and they told us we couldnt book anything until we scheduled our interview. 

Case status changed to READY so we tried to book our interview with the Montreal embassy online but it says there are no appointments available! Anyone else with this problem? UGH! 

Hey everyone, we're waiting for our status to change to ready. I'm just wondering if most of you received the packets from the consulate via email or post? Hoping for email!

Just received the email with our case number!!! Just waiting for the consulate to receive our stuff! 

Was told to hit option 5 today, the lady who answered told me yes my case was received on March 15th but the case number hasnt been assigned and that i'll hear back once its sent to the consulate (can take a certain amount of weeks etc) 

Do you guys keep calling everyday if they give you this answer?
