Thanks number 9! Yeah i do have the checklist from the interview notice but I’m looking for a comprehensive list for front loading. Thanks for the additional items to add
Try to gather any documents with both names, like joint bank account, and pictures from your wedding. Of course, you need to include everything else stated on the list too.

Hope someone can share their AOS interview document checklist. Struggling to prepare mine. I feel like I’m lacking some items
Hi. There is a list of things that they ask you to bring on the interview notice. Go through the list. My advice would be you can add some stuff like photos, cards from your family and friends, a couple of marriage acknowledgement letters, flight tickets with both names on them, utility bill with both names on it, rental agreement with both names on it. I would say it is better to be over prepared than under prepared. The interview officer probably wouldn't ask you to show every document, but when he/she asks, you should be able to show.

Hi guys, our interview is on 08/20. My wife will be out of town at that time. Can we reschedule the interview citing financial loss if we change the ticket now? Its international flight and damn expensive now to change it. Please help.
Hi. We hoped for our interview so badly for the whole time since the marriage last year. I don't know how that would work if you request a change of your interview date. Why don't you do some research? Do you know how much more you have to wait if you request a reschedule your interview? I understand flight tickets are expensive, but I think this interview is more important. My husband and I were so stressed out, and we just wanted to get over with it.

It was really hard for me to wait for more than 7 months hearing nothing from USCIS.
However, the situation has changed dramatically and I have received several email notifications since I got my first email alert on June 6th.
Yesterday, I got my interview notice with the date and place.
My interview is about a month later, and I hope to come back to this conversation thread after that.
Please refer to my timeline below.
Good luck everyone!

It has been about 6 months since my Biometrics on Nov. 27, 2017.
After such a long wait since, my case status has finally been updated as of today.
New card is being produced - June 4th, 2018
My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview - June 6th, 2018
I got my email alert this afternoon about the interview, but not about the card.
My husband came home a couple of hours later.
We cried after we checked our case status online.
From the submission, it has been more than 7 months. I know it is hard.
Hang in there, all!
God bless you!

I received NOA I-485 and I-131 on 17 November. I hope to receive I-765 also, but I still wait. Also I do not have a SSN, I asked for it too. Waiting for information ...
Thanks))
I wonder why they haven't sent an NOA for I-765 yet. Like someone said, you can apply for an SSN 2-3 weeks after you get your EAD card. But you probably want to go to the SSN office again when you get your green card. Your SSN will probably have limited function. I already have my SSN because I have worked before but I read other stories, and that's what other people say.
By the way, did you get your biometrics notice yet?

Hello. My I-485, I-131 in the process. Does anyone know what time frame it is? How much will I have to wait? I received only 2 letters of receipt. And no information about the form I-765 and about SSN... I still haven,t. Thank you))
Hi, How long has it been since you received 2 NOAs in mail? You should also receive an NOA for form I-765 if you have submitted it.

Anyone else get their EAD yet?
No. I just got my biometrics done yesterday. At this point, we only want it to move on to be done without getting an RFE.

Update on our case
11/17/2017 Biometrics NOA in mail
11/09/2017 Notice date (on the letter)
11/27/2017 Biometrics Appointment
Hopefully we and other filers get no request for evidence. Fingers crossed!
P. S. USCIS status haven't changed since 11/09/2017 which was for the very first NOA.
I guess it's true that they don't update the status online very often. Anyway, most important is to get paper NOAs.

well, I tried their app too, it’s called Case Tracker.. I am going to try the website now. Thanks!
If you don't want to sign up on their website, you can simply put your receipt numbers and it shows the current status. I haven't used their app.

How do you sign up for using the receipt numbers? I thought it is an automatic thing..
I don't know how that checking is done automatically. I might be wrong, but I signed up. Set up your ID and password, some basic information of you, and receipt numbers (3 or 4 depending on your case). You can also choose to get email and/or phone alerts whenever they update your case status online.

Hi everyone!
I sent my AOS package on Oct 23, and USCIS received it on Oct 26, I got an email and three messages on Nov 1st, then I got 4 letters in the mail a week later on Nov 7th. Since then I am still waiting for the biometrics appointment notice, I hope it comes until the end of this week! The thing that bothers me a little is that I still can’t check my case in the USCIS tracker... Is there someone with similar dates like mine but can track their case online?
Hi,
Our NOA in the mail was 11/13/2017 and we are able to check our case status using "Check your case status" on USCIS.gov. I heard that how early you can check you case online is case by case. You might want to give it a little more time. By the way, did you sign up using your receipt numbers? It shows last updated date as well.

October 2017 AOS filers (merged)
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
It has been such a long journey, but I am so glad to finally see the end.
I had my interview on Monday in San Diego field office. For your information I adjusted from F1 student visa, and my adjustment is based on my marriage to a U.S. citizen.
My husband and I got a help from Catholic Charities from the submission last October.
When we got our interview notice about 5 weeks prior to the interview date, we called them again to get an appointment.
We sat down with our case manager (don't know her exact job title), and she went over the documents we should bring to the interview.
She also gave us some tips of what we can/can't at the interview.
The interview took 30 minutes + some more. I didn't check my watch, so I don't know it exactly.
The interviewer was a young woman, and she was not aggressive.
First, show me some original documents, like marriage certificate, birth certificates and any related ones.
Next, she said she was going to check some facts, and asked me to tell her what I did as a F1 visa student.
I was not hesitant, and I walked her through where I studied. She seemed satisfied with my answer.
She also asked basic questions. What's your street name?
Who do you live with?
When's your last entry to the U.S?
Have you ever been abroad since you renewed your passport?
Is there any stamps on your new passport?
How did you two meet? How did your relationship develop to marry?
Any other documents to show your marriage is genuine?
We showed pictures (from dating to current and several wedding pictures with family), 2 marriage acknowledgement letters (nortarized), my husband's life insurance (primary beneficiary as me), rental agreement with our names, and AT&T bill with our names. We could've shown recent joint bank statements, and a couple of other things, but we couldn't think of those at the moment.
She went through the documents, and she took some pictures. We said, "the pictures are for you. Of course, take some. "
She hold one picture with our nephews and nieces, and asked us who they were. My husband got nervous a bit, but it was ok.
She asked my husband where he's currently working.
He answered. We didn't show his empolyment verification letters, but she didn't ask.
I think that was pretty much about it.
She said that our documents looked fine.
She took the fingerprints of my index fingers, I think.
She then explained when the card will arrive, the process after 2 years.
We even signed a form about the removal of condition, and then she gave us a copy.
She walked us out the door, and we shook her hand.
It was hard to believe, but I guess it's true.
As soon as we got out of the building, we hugged and I cried.
At 5 pm the same day, the case status changed to "card being produced."
Today, it has changed to "card mailed to the address ..."
For both changes, I got email alerts.
It was not an easy process, but I am very happy to be finally and officially part of this society.
I hope my review helps those who are waiting for their interviews.
There are some possible interview questions if you google.
We practiced interviewing each other a few times.
God bless to all of you.
