Carol and Justin reacted to John & Rose in I-129F June, Part II
Most of my words are being used to convince myself that the wait is OK. I miss Rose's touch, smell, smile every second. I have never wanted to spend every moment of everyday with a partner, including my ex wife. I want to be by Rose's side until my last breath. The wait is killing me because every second that ticks is a second we cant share together. The kids school and weather are great excuses but if I really had a choice, we would be together right now...

Thank you so much. At the rate this is going, you will be approved before us! That would be fine with me. Any June approval gets us all closer and even helps the July filers who are lurking. I know this will happen for all of us...eventually!

Carol and Justin got a reaction from ChuAni in I-129F June, Part II
My case was aproved by USCIS on november 17,2017. We are waiting now about 47 days and we called NCV yesterday and they said the process have not got there yet. Is this the correct forum for me to see this?

I agree with Gregory&Dyn.
This is a long and tedious journey. It's our faith in God and love for each other that keeps us going. It is approaching three years my husband and I have been apart. Just keep your eye on the prize. Anything worth having requires sacrifice and commitment. Never give up. All the best to you.

Your I-129F is processed by the California Service Center (CSC), not the Texas Service Center (TSC).
The place you mailed it to was the Texas lockbox, not TSC.

It seems like currently things are running slower than standard estimates from internet searches, lawyers, and even VJ timelines.

I always go to the USCIS website directly to check the status of the processing times. Of course I don't check all the time, maybe just once a week, to not allow so much stress. Here it's mainly just estimates.

VJ's estimates are based on other users' timeline data. It's generally more accurate than the "official" info from USCIS since that is ~2 months out of date at the time it is posted, and usually only updates monthly.
Either way, both are just estimates...an individual case could take a month or months less than the average, or take months longer. 5-6 months from NOA1 to NOA2 is the current average.
