I called NVC again this morning and asked to speak to a supervisor. After going through my forms and SSA statement, he surprisingly admitted that the other department made a mistake and told me to resubmit my Form I-864W.  He also mentioned that cases like mine are not something that they encounter everyday.  Some of the agents were not trained on it.  I guess I'll wait and keep my fingers crossed to see what NVC will throw at me next.

After a very long and painful 289 days my i130 was approved!! I had tears in my eyes when I got the news!! It was the best way to start the Thanksgiving weekend!!
 
We look forward to putting this chapter behind us and moving forward with our lives. Best of luck to those who are still waiting.

I don't know why but you sounded so fake.

It is very possible that both of us were wrong and I apologize for that.  I trust that everyone who has ever visited this forum came to get additional information about Nebraska or help to answer some questions about someone else's case.  It is just unconscionable that someone would purposely spew out fake information just to get a kick.

Haha.. Mickey Mouse   We are going nuts over this process and we are thinking about plan B.  Maybe we should just stay put and get our sanity back.

I saw an approval with PD of Feb 14th.  It seems like Nebraska skipped many people again. Sigh sigh.........

I noticed a case right next to mine was sent an RFE on Nov 6th.  My PD is Feb 8th.  I guess there are working on early Feb now.

Congratulations!  Gives me some hope. My hubby is in Jamaica, but we are March 3. 

My spouse just heard back from Tier 2. It took about an hour for them to call back. If anyone else calls Tier 2 I would highly suggest to do so first thing in the morning.
 
Tier 2 said what happened to us happens all the time where either the parent or child gets approved first. My application is not approved as of today (Nov 7) but my son's was approved Oct 21. But the Tier 2 officer said she was going to put in a service request to Nebraska to link the two in hopes to get mine approved.
 
Tier 2 called a second time to follow up and said we could not use a Canadian post office box for a service request. So she got my spouse's address. It was a relief to get someone who knew what we were talking about. To have two separate applications from the same family going through the NVC process is going to complicate everything. I am glad the Tier 2 officer thought so too.
 
We are crossing our fingers something materializes from this call. When I emailed Nebraska directly the auto reply was such that you need a service request first before they will act on the email.
