No they didnt ask for new fingerprints. They only requested me for updated medical and pics. Thanks a lot. Good luck to u

Hello guys. Finally a long tough journey came to an end. I got my visa today. Thanks to you all and this forum as I have got a chance to talk to so many good people here. We all have helped each other as we are facing the same situation. My visa category is v92. My mother is my petitioner. My interview was on 20th sep 2017. They approved it but later sent me Ds5535 in email. It took 16 months and then in January 2019 I got an email for an updated medical and after 15 days of medical submission, I have finally received my visa. I have spent 6 years without my mom.. so eager to meet her soon InshaAllah. I can only say that dont lose hope, you will eventually get your visa at a perfect time decided by Allah. I was so depressed in these 16 months. I left my studies after interview, my engagement got broken due to some reasons and I was all alone in the darkness. No job, no studies and no support. I kept thinking abt my visa and used to check and stare at my ceac status daily even on weekends. I prayed a lot and Allah finally helped me. Please pray for me. I am praying for u all ..may all of you meet your beloved people soon ameen. Its always a light at the end of a tunnel.Cheers and Good luck.

Guys. I want a quick response. I have received from UsTraveldocs that my passport n visa have been collected from embassy and they have mentioned my passport number with thr address of my selected courier service location. And my passport status on Ustraveldocs is ready for pick up. Does it mean i can go and pick my visa tomorrow from the courier center? Does this email signifies that? I got no phone call. only email from Us travel docxs. Plz reply

Yes I will post everything related to my case once I safely get my visa in my hand. Thank you so mch. Right now i can only tell u that i was in AP amd waited for about 1.5 years (16 months).

He will get his visa soon ameen. After my visa.. now I believe everyone will get theirs. Becuase I was so hopeless in the end. Its been 16 months altogether. And thanks for your wishes. I will get you all updated once I get my visa in my hand.

No my father's medical isn't ready yet. Yes I submitted my medical and today i checked my status.. it says 'issued' Alhamdullilah. Now waiting for the next move. When will I receive my passport with visa? Can you tell me your experience

@ShazyyoAll you need is copy of original I-130 in order to figure out who the primary applicant is. If your dad is the primary application then you might have to wait till his medical is processed.

They should issue it on its own or they might schedule another interview. Either way it shouldnt take long. But I was reading a post where you mentioned waiting for ur father's medical. Is he the principal applicant? Because if he is then u might have to wait for him to complete his medical.  Either way your waiting journey will come to an end soon IA. Them requesting this stuff means they want to issue visa. Its just a few more days. Good luck. 

Okay thanks.. but they never notified us of who is the principal applicant. They contacted me when they requested for another medical. Are you sure that they wont issue me visa until my father's med gets completed? Lets see what happens. I didn't get any update after I submitted medical and visa photos. Yes hoping for the best. Ameen.

Hey Guys. Does anybody know after how many days embassy contacts us or issue a visa? I submitted my 2nd fresh medical exam on wednesday as per their request. Anybody please share your experience. I m from Islamabad, Pakistan.

Just a short update. My husband received his IR visa today from Dakar embassy. We were in AP with DS5535 from August 2017 through November 2018, so 14-15 months.  We were contacted in November that "visa is ready" and told to redo medicals, new tax forms, AOS and DS260 online and schedule appointment through the consular visa website, could not do it in December as I had vacation book to Mali over Christmas time. We filed August 2014, right after our marriage, I am a USC, and it still took 4.5 years.

 

But it's almost over. My husband is travelling home now (2 days by road) and next week has to interview at one of the European embassies for his work visa to Europe where he is booked for tour in February and March. Thankfully that is only a 30 minute   So I will see him in April, just in time for spring. 

 

I hope no one has to go through what we did. Stay strong and your day will come soon, so everyone here be soon reunited with their loved ones. Today was our day to celebrate. I will write again when he arrives.

And upload documents there. Be sure to keep checking you dad's e-mail because there'd be some confirmation mails there.

Thanks a lot munazza. Yes I called helpline yesterday. They asked me to make a new ID for myself and then I added my details into that account and generated a transaction form. Today I submitted by medical and visa photos. Alhamdullilah. Now my father's account is different. It has his details but his transaction form is not being generated. There is some problem. Anyway, i will go home and will.call helpline again to settle down this matter. So that when my father's medical is ready, he will be able to send that easily via american express. Plz munazza pray for my visa.. some people saying that may be embassy wont give me visa as i m not the principal applicant. I dont know who is the principal applicant and embassy never notified me of that.. they usually send me emails.. and do correspondence with me. I dont wanna wait more I want to see my mom asap. But phir b Allah ko jo manzoor whi hoga.

So there is no advantage in submitting your medical now. I advice you to wait 2 months and submit your medical with Dad's medical if he is the principle applicant.

I wish they issue my visa.. i submitted my medical today with visa photos. American express and medical center advised me to send my documents to embassy as my father's medical is delayed so may be embassy will prefer to issue my visa. I have been waiting for so long... i really want to meet my mom.plz pray they issue my visa ...

hey munazza plz help me I m in difficulty. I went o american express islamabas to submit my medical and photos. The person there asked me to make account with my father's email ID as he is probably the principal applicant whereas his medical is a bit delayed and will be collected after 2 months due to additional tests. I made an account with my father's Id but added my details in that (my email id, my house address, case number) and uploaded my passport scanned copy. There was a sudden pop up that these details are already with another email ID and should we transfer this to that ID... wo id meri ammi ki h that she may be entered in 2015 when she was applying my visit visa to account bnaya hoga. Duplication hgye or account abi tk verify nh hua k bana h k nahi. Wahan likha arha k apko email ayegi once your account has changed. Do u know munazza what does it mean? Wahan jo person h usne mje wps ghr janay ko kaha k ghr ja k account bnao helpline pr fone kr k...he didnt help me at all. I m in home now and helpline pr koi nahi h jo mje btaye.. operator h wo is baray me info nh de rha.. plz tell me how do we get to know k account final hogya h. or email knse id pr ayegi jo mene apni andr detail me di ya email.id sy? sorry for this long msg but plz reply i m so worried. nobody is helping me

I wanna ask one more question. As embassy sent me an email requesting updated medical and visa photos. Should I reply them back that I have received their email and will send my docs to them asap?

I live in Islamabad. I dont think my father will be able to make an account there. So I will surely go with him. Thanks a lot for this information. Do they guide us in account creation and other processes while submitting the docs to american express?
