  1. Hello, 😊I  am preparing the documents for my children who are in the USA with a K2 visa, (now we are together in EEUU).... my question is ... about  the forms for Residency (AOS), I have to be as a legal representative? they are 10 and 15 years old. Or just the information of them ?. Thank you.🌺

    sorry for my english😬

  2. Hello everyone,

My children have traveled to  USA this month (january) with their K2 visa.   I traveled with my K1 visa,  3 months before.

Their passports  have a stamp of entry to the country, and  date, but the immigration officer did not explain to them what is that time line.

my passport show time line  for 90 days  to get married, (I got married within those 90 days) ...... but with the children, for what is that date??? (also 90 days)
    Thanks !!!!!❤️

so sorry for all of you waiting for extended times but the wait will be woth it

trust me, it took us 6 years and we are happy and trying only to pass information on to others to help

unforunately you are at the NOA1 stage that says "do no send any info unless asked for it" at bottom on NOA1 page

it is clearly hurry up and wait / i wished during this processing times that the site to tell us what is happening to our case was better but it tells very little/ ours never showed an update/ others do see a tickle meaning case was  worked on but not what is happening to the case

good luck and Happy Thanksgiving to all

    Thank you adil-rafa.... Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

Gotcha. Thanks for the update and clarification.

Yeah, each child will need a separate (K-2) visa, and must pay the $265 MRV fee + medical exam fee.

Each child will also need to apply for AOS. Since they assumingly aren't filing at the same time as the mother, it would be $1140 each (plus $85 biometrics for those age 14 and older).

    thank you...!!!!

Where are you in the process?

The I-129F has one fee ($535). Your fiancee and all children (even if not immigrating) need to be listed.

Once the I-129F is approved, each visa applicant needs to fill out a DS-160, complete a medical, interview, etc. This is where there is a fee for each individual getting a visa.

Once you enter on the K-1/K-2 visa, the marriage occurs within 90 days, each intending immigrant needs to do AOS. Check the link posted above for current fees.

thank you geowrian,  Im from Catalonia (spain) .... we included my kids in form 129f.

if I get my visa k1 ....my intention is  travel to Texas ... and in 3 or 4 months that the children travel with us definitively.

processing times for California office currently working on May 1 2017 for financee K1

you can expect close to over 6 months for case to be reviewed and go on to next stage

in 2009 ours was applied for in July and interview in November but that is no longer the case as applications have doubled and redoubled

    thank you  adil-rafa

My friend you already responded your question. Time processing has increased significantly in past year.....follow the time processing tab and you will find out more details.

Thank you T_P ....I thought , if some people worried about waiting 3 months for noa2 maybe is real time for wait ...

I did not really know what to think....

    thank you!!!!

  8. Hello!!!! ... I have processed the 129form for our k1 visa (only one month ago) .... my question is ... in general .... I read that  average of obtaining the k1 visa .... is about 6 months .... but also I have seen in Igor's lists that they receive the noa2 .... 6 months later approximately (but after people has the  interview .....and is more long)... and I also see many people who passed 3 months is already worried about not having the noa2 ..... how long approximate  take the noa2 (I already know that it is very relative and depends on each case)

thank you ... and sorry for my english

All I-129Fs are sent to the Texas lockbox (this not the Texas service center). This is a mail reception warehouse where the packages are opened, checks removed and cashed, forms briefly checked for completeness (signed, dated, etc) and then sent to California service center for adjudication.
