I live in Orange County, and the system not allow me to even book online appointment to go DMV for ID. The situation is very frustrating.  

Yes I live in Orange County too! We just went walk in, no problem at all, They got the real ID too, I just showed them their I-551 stamp and Social  card mail , USCIS letter With their name and address and my birth certificate too.

Hello! Yes they can use their I551 stamp on their passport to leave and come back here.  It serves the same like GC,  its valid for 1 year. I tried to contact USCIS but they keep telling me to wait for 120 days to inquire.

Hello! CONGRATULATIONS! Their Social came 1 week after they arrived. Go to your neareast SS office and they can check it for you, my moms gc came after 120 days, still waiting for my dads gc. Hes only been here  2 months. 

Same with my dad im really upset, is there any update?

Im surprise too! NVC did the schedule at Philipine Consulate, My mom was Documntarily Qualified on May 8,2019 and recieve Appointment Interview on May 20, interview scheduled on june 10. They only gave us 20 days to prepare for the interview . Thank God my mom is Approve! Thank you ya'll!!

Hi everyone! I hope all is well. My mom's interview scheduled on June 10, but my dad was delayed due to his medical we need to wait till july 23 for result. 😔 but almost there!!! I pray that everything  goes well 🙏🙏🙏 

I applied Immigrant Visa for both of my parents, they have upcoming interview this month, My Question is how soon they can petition my under age siblings when they come here in US?  I heard the green card can take up to 3 months, can they use the temporary stamp to file it? Hello Good morning! I need help, Both of my Parents application  was CC April 29 (dad)nd May 8 (mom), and today i recieve an email saying Interview scheduled both of them June 10? Do i need to wait for the interview letter for medical or i cam just print the email? And im not sure why they gave us short  notice. I dont know what to do 🤦‍♀️ any advice? thank you in advance!!

My parents I-130 was approved Jan 7, My im now currently waiting for interview.  So i guess prolly 4-7 month or early. 🤞

 they reviewed my dad first, I sent both of their application April 5th, his application rejected on April 11th and my mom rejected April 18th.

Sorry for the delays! It took 3 weeks for them to review my resubmitted documents! Both of my parents is Approve! Thank God!!

-My dad rejected april 11 and resubmitted on the same day

If there are errors in some uploads, it's ok.  NVC will "Reject" the bad uploads and "Accept" the good uploads.  Just keep doing the uploads and/or reviewing them until all required documents are accepted.

 

When it comes to attorneys, I have used many different types for many different reasons.  I learned to always expect some kind of mistake and be watchful of their work output (filings, pleadings etc).  But their expertise had always been needed for my particular legal issues.

 

However, like many VJers, I did all the visa work with my husband/fiance.  Straightforward directions are here and advice to find information you need is here also.

Thank you so much for the response! So glad to find this site. I thought i will save myself in this kind of situation if i hired a lawyer. But nah. I wish i have done it myself. They make me feel like s#*t too 😔, I'm not expecting smooth process but when its rejected and submitting  the same rejected document is ridicoulous  🤦‍♀️ i decided to submit the corrected documents throught additional document. I hope they will accept it or my lawyer will laugh at me 🤦‍♀️ thank you! God bless!

Hello Im filing for Dad , Were currrently  at NVC stage. My lawyer submit all documents on april 4 but unfortunately on april 11 , 4 Civil documents was rejected due to missing part  of the document which is the bottom was cut and the other document is not right up size dumb! 🤬 And now my laywer upload the same document and they didn't even re-arrage the document , im so mad. i really dont know what to do.  Do i need to wait for another rejection notice or i will submit it to additional documents? What is the worst can happen if i do it? Any advice? Thank you so much in advance!!

Hello everyone! I have  a question i submit all the documents to NVC april 4, can i still edit and reupload the documents? I realize theres part of the document that is cut. I afraid that it might get rejected. Anyone have done this? Please let me know thank you so much!

Got an update from NVC for my dad's case  4 civil document was rejected , its says part of the document is missing but my lawyer submitted the same file. They didnt even re-arrange the document so its not cut. Im so mad i feel like it will be rejected again. Any updates anyone? Thank you!  I hope all is well with you all! God bless.

After documents are uploaded NVC generally takes about 10-14 days to approve (Documentarily Qualified/CC) or comment. After CC it all depends on how busy the US post is, but generally you hear back on the interview date within a month and the actual interview a month after.

Im sorry for the late respone! After your I-130 is approve they will transfer your application to NVC and took them 6 weeks to put it on their system they will email/mail you the new case number with Invoice number, paid again $125 (Affidavit of Support fee for both of my parents)  and $325 for each( Immigrant Application fee) Im not sure if there will be another fee 🤦‍♀️ i hope not! will keep you updated! Good luck!
