No, as I said I think started in Oct last year they stopped updating and everyone is technically inline for the interview immediately after biometric.

starting from October(I think), everyone is "in line for an interview" immediately after biometric is done. I sent them a message before my biometric to fix something and their answer was "your status in suspense until biometric is done " then after my biometric was done, I sent them another message and I got the same response as yours. I have been waiting since Nov 21 with further actions.

CSC is just a lost cause and I'm reading of more and more N400 interviews bypassing ROC. 

 

We shall see. I just don't like not being able to make long term plans for traveling, which we do a lot of. I'm concerned they may schedule an interview for when we're not here and we have to disrupt plans and waste money to get back. 

 

Yup and I have the same concern, I am travelling outside the whole month of March and if I don't hear anything about the interview this month that means it's gonna be on March, I was monitoring some cases and all of them got a month between the notification and the actual interview. So if I don't get a notification this month then it highly likely it's gonna be next month. The problem with scheduling interview is that they push you about 3-6 months away.

I just tried logging in from my phone (you know, cookies, etc.), I receive the one time password AND the USCIS account update via email, but only the password via text, whereas, when there was a real update in the past, I would also receive a text for that. So I'm thinking it's just some kind of glitch. 

 

 

Probably it's a glitch but just check back tomorrow. The reason I was asking because I got mine approved, my NOA was Nov 3, 2016 and we have a similar timeline with N400. I have not received the card yet but got the approval letter. That happened after a week of the infopass stamp. What I am trying to say is that N400 did not affect it or hold it till I have two interviews.

That's interesting, I know that website change instantly whenever there is a major change. So my guess is that there is a minor update which could be something like requesting additional documents maybe.. . But yeah the main website will not show anything today, you will see them tomorrow.

I get the regular 14-day update that "my case is still being reviewed", however, today I received THREE notifications for "Account Update Notification", which usually signifies some sort of movement. 

 

Sad to say, that doesn't seem to be the case, but I'll give it some time to perhaps change into "interview scheduled"!  I know, I know, dream on! LOL

 

Check your case on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do , but  myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/  will be updated overnight.

Let us know if it is an interview.  thing

How long it takes to receive the actual card? My approval letter dated Dec 17 and I have not received the card yet.

Vermont- Nov 3rd here and still no word

So it looks like there is new policy where they cancel your N400 interview if you I-751 is still pending, two Septmber fillers reported that. This is insane, I read before that by the law I-751 should not delay the process of N400. Although N400 can’t be approved without I-751 being approved, the officer should still complete all the processes and examination of the n400.

That's normal and is sent every two weeks if no action happens in the case. There is an option to turn that specific notification off. For me, it is on but I did not get any email since my biometric day about case inactivity, so I am not sure why they did not send me any.

I think you used the wrong timeline, right I moved you to the end of the list bcz you did not exist in the previous timeline, whether you are at the top of the list or the bottom, that's does not really matter, what matter is having the correct information and using the recent timeline before adding any changes 

Putting the right timeline, please be sure you alter the most recent timeline before you make any edits.

Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview

ECD: Estimated completion date as reported in USCIS website for your case in months

Yeah, same here. They already have them from before and I guess the purpose of this time is just to validate identity. The same thing happened to me at the airport, they just made me do one hand to retrieve my information, so I am assuming it is same.

When I went for my biometric, they gave me a book and I think it has most all the stuff they asked about. Also, there is an official app from USCIS to practise the questions for civics. Good luck, please update us with the date once you know them. You should be able to see it tomorrow morning since they update the system overnight.
