I went for infopass before, I brought my ext. letter but they did not focus on it, so probably you are fine to go without and ask them for the stamp. for 2, again there is nothing saying you should bring a letter but if ur I751 is still pending probably it's a good idea to take that letter otherwise just bring the old green card, that's more important than the letter. Even when you file for N400 they ask u to upload Green Card picture nor the letter

Usually few hours, last time it took them about 6 hours to be able to view the document. And no you don't have to renew ur passport its irrelevant

Overall, an exhausting day but well worth it and very special. Thank you to everyone here at VJ and all the best with your immigration journeys..I'm done!

How did you manage to have interview and oath on the same day?

In my opinion, Just pay it and tell them about the ticket, better than dragging it to the court. Once it reaches the court it gets complicated and I am sure that will delay your application since they gonna wanna know the outcomes. Just a personal opinion.

Wondering if I get an infopass they will hurry and approve my ROC. I did got approved on spot but with INTERVIEW for my 1st GC of 2 years, So I don't think they will require interview for my ROC also cause we sent a lot of co-mingled financial docs.

 

But I also see in my filling center they still working on cases of august 20 so I am prob gonna hear something in either 3 months or hopefully sooner if they schedule my n400 interview soon

I went to have a stamp on my passport since my ext. letter was expired. I was Vermont, so I am not sure if info pass hurried it or it just was the normal processing time.

Yes My ROC got approved, Vermont filler

In my case I had my ROC pending when I applied for N400, I went for infopass and they never mentioned that N400 interferes with ROC. A week after infopass and stamp they approved my case.

That being said, I read on the gov website that:

1- ROC Should NOT delay N400 processing However N400 can’t be approved without ROC being approved. Meaning that you can even have your N400 interview but they will tell you that decision can’t be made at this moment.

2- If you N400 and ROC are by any chance being processed at the same office field then the officer can take a decision for both on same day.

i did not read anything about that something like applying for N400 will transfer your ROC or delay it. I feel some officers don’t have full knowledge. My officer at infopass was honest and clear and said all what I am seeing is that your case is being processed but he could not see a lot info as we expect.

 I don't why would they ask for any documents if they are writing this in the instructions.

Do you guys think there is a way to take the oath on the same day? I have plan to travel March 1st and I bought my tickets 6 months ago, I wonder if they will help with that, I don't want to travel outside without the citizenship

I still can't see the interview letter uploaded even tho they are saying you can find it in the documents tab. i remember with biometric it took them three days to upload it.

Yeah, things are crazy. I am travelling outside the country for three weeks starting in the end of February, so hopefully the interview before that otherwise  I have to reschedule and even it is before that, I am not sure if it is a good idea to travel between the interview and the Oath Ceremony.

Are you saying yours was ON the actual anniversary (+/- the delays for weekend and holiday)?

Yes, 3 years my anniversary was January 14 and today I got a notification for the interview which I am assuming it was supposed to be on Jan 14 but Jan 14 was Sunday and Jan 15 was an official holiday for them.

The old version on mine says that the interview was scheduled, but the new one still says "we reviewed biometrics, etc..". I'll wait a few more days just in case; I have trip coming up in February around these dates (that would end on Feb 20), and as I know the usually schedule with a month notice, I don't want to have to reschedule (I know, wishful thinking! LOL).

 I got the notification today and my 3rd anniversary was 14, but they were off on Jan 14 and Jan 15. So I think they are doing it exactly on the anniversary but not sure if that's the case or not, you know everyday new rule.

It's Funny, I just Got notification that there is an update on my case. I checked the other website and found that my status changed to  "Interview Was Scheduled". I'll update you with the dates once they upload the letter.

it's been 55 days for me

I had one too and did not report it on N400, I did not know that you have to report Traffic tickets :(. I wonder what's going to happen on that case...

Two people from December got their interview scheduled, both of them from Tampa, FL office. The processing time for Tampa, FL is January 15, 2017. 

Anybody have updates here? Nov 2 Filler and had my biometric on Nov 22, I have not heard anything about the interview yet.

Any Philadelphia online or paper-based filler to share his/her experience? How long I take them to schedule the interview, I had my fingerprint on November 22, 2016.
