Yes, That's true. Because by they law you can't be approved without ROC being approved. So hopefully you get the green card soon. but I think they will not print Green Card for you because they gonna take it in oath so probably they just want to send you to the oath directly, but the have to wait until they have one scheduled. Well good luck, hopefully you will hear good news soon

02/14/2018- Interview (passed) but decision cannot be made because of pending ROC. Officer has to review it first before he will approved my n400. 
02/20/2018- online status updated- We placed you in line for youth ceremony and will send you a notice. .......

I file under the 3 years rule.

it is similar to my timeline, I am also travelling in few days outside, but I have my green card so I can travel on it. Why do you need a stamp??

It just happened to me, the officer said I will get a notification on the same day, but it seems it will be 120 days like you guys.

Is joint marriage evidence required for the N-400 interview? I've heard conflicting viewpoints on the interview when filed under 3 year rule. On one hand I hear that they are not concerned about the marriage anymore as the AOS and ROC process takes care of that. On the other I hear that I should to take all joint evidence from marriage that was submitted for AOS and ROC to the N-400 interview. Which one is true? It would be a TON of documents to take if I need to take all my previous documents.

 

I was just thinking of taking the followig: Joint tax returns for 3 years, leases we signed, spouse US birth certificate, marriage certificate and maybe a bank statement or two showing joint account. I can also take joint health insurance and car insurance proof if needed. Would this be enough? Also, do I need to take photos like I did for the AOS interview?

P.S. Here is my overall timeline in the US... this may or may not help with your response. I've lived in the US since 2008. Got married in 2014, got conditional GC in 2014, ROC approved in 2017 with 10-year GC and applied for citizenship in November 2017. 

Take everything, I was thinking that they would not care since I got my ROC  approved recently, but no, she asked me for evidence even tho I uploaded them and wanted to see more evidence besides everything I uploaded which they were car loans, health insurance, cars insurance, bank statements, leases, tax returns for three years,..

My officer said to me, there is nothing negative on your application but i need to review more, and said TODAY you will get a notification, it looks like this "Today" will be 120 Days

I have an international travel scheduled since August last year. Yesterday, I had my N400 interview and at the end of the interview I got a paper with "Decision can't yet be made about your application". My travel is next week and I am not sure if it is safe to travel outside or not. I have my green card with me, But not sure if the result of the interview will affect my reentry to the states..

Any advice would be highly appreciated. 

I had my interview today, it was a tough one even tho there was no issues or negative points on the case according to the officer. Questions were left and right,  with some questions that not sure what is the source of them like "you studied at that school.." or wrong assumptions like "you came on students visa", stuff that I am not sure if they were intentionally asked or some sort of confusion but never reported them so not sure where they came from. In the end, the officer said that there is nothing negative on your application but I need to review it more and review your Form I-485 ?!?! I was not sure why she said that...

I felt in the interview that she focused a lot on showing the relationship with my wife and felt she was not convinced that she is living with me even tho I've submitted a lot of evidence and recently I was approved for I-751. 

Overall, it was very stressful and a lot of questions. The officer started asked me the civic questions before I even sat on the chair...

I don't know I just feel frustrated... I never have done something wrong and I pay very high taxes and work hard and do everything the right way, I am just tired of this  it's exhausting

For me, I had my biometric on Nov 21 and on Jan 16 they notify me about the interview which will be on Feb 23.

3- Will I need this 1 year extension letter at all? Should I ask for a new one?

I went for infopass before, I brought my ext. letter but they did not focus on it, so probably you are fine to go without and ask them for the stamp. for 2, again there is nothing saying you should bring a letter but if ur I751 is still pending probably it's a good idea to take that letter otherwise just bring the old green card, that's more important than the letter. Even when you file for N400 they ask u to upload Green Card picture nor the letter

Usually few hours, last time it took them about 6 hours to be able to view the document. And no you don't have to renew ur passport its irrelevant

Approved for citizenship today. Same day oath ceremony was nice, 7 hours of waiting wasn't. My interview was only 15 mins and the interviewer was very direct but professional. No pleasantries were exchanged but they were incredibly busy so I can understand the need to get through all the applicants. My interview was at 8:15am in Newark, I didn't need to submit any additional support or passport photos, just presented my greencard, passport and drivers license. Test consisted of:

The ceremony was very nice, introduction from the USCIS staff, stood for the national anthem, then we watched a video, called out each country and applicants from that country stood up (38 total in my ceremony), said the oath of allegiance (right hand in the air), welcome video from the President, said the pledge of allegiance (right hand over heart), concluded and took photos. Overall, an exhausting day but well worth it and very special. Thank you to everyone here at VJ and all the best with your immigration journeys..I'm done!
