i just had my interview an hour ago in Lagos embassy & I was approved. 

My Interview was scheduled for 6:45am but I arrived there are 5:30am and we went in at 6:30am, did the biometrics and all. 

 

CO: Goodmorning ma with a smile 

Me: Morning with a smile as well. 

CO: is this your child? 

ME: yes, she’s our child. 

CO: Did your husband file for her?

Me: No, we already applied for U.S Passport and Birth Certificate with the U.S embassy in Abuja. 

CO: Was she approved? 

Me: I’m yet to hear from them. 

CO: but, was she given a conditional approval?

ME: Yes 

CO: Brilliant (He checked the system and found my Baby’s details and confirmed to me) 

he went back to his system and typed some things and said your visa is been approved. 

 

He issued me with 2 white papers and said safe travels when you get your document and that of your Child and good luck in the U.S.

I think u should wait till the 4th week. It took them 4weeks to give me a case number. I'm not a pivot case.

The same situation. But even if DS 261 SAYING ITS PAID, AND COMPLETED .It doesnt mean that IV fee is still unlocked. I will call them tomorrow to ask them to review my DS261, so thats what  you should do as well . Once they review DS261, they will send an email for paying IV FEE. And then we gonna be able to pay it .

I am also facing the Same problem. Over 3days I paid the AOS bill and it has even updated to PAID. DS261 form is Updated "COMPLETED".

Please anyone who passed Tru  this and got sorted out later should please explain to us why we can't pay the IV bill

The IV bill won't unlock for a few days, they have to wait until payment clears and set the system up for you. You can see the approx time it takes by looking at my signature, but no two cases are the same.

Please I'm having a little difficulty . I want to know if anyone experienced this .

I could only pay the AOS bill. The IV bill wasn't unlocked for me. I thought it would be unlocked once the AOS BILL status is updated to PAID on the ceac website. But I can not still proceed even as it is updated. Please what can be the problem.

I have received the welcome letter. I could fill the ds261 before the welcome letter. But paid aos bill after the welcome letter

texas.also . Received my case number 3/5.  Nvc received 2/6. And I could login 3/5. Filled ds261 form 3/6. And paid aos 3/7.
