Foreign passport is a property of a foreign government and won't be taken away. Maybe it's for confirming any foreign trips between the interview and oath.

Your Green Card will be taken away.....but NOT your passport.  I'm not sure why they would want to see it.  Make sure you take a black ink pen and the questionnaire as required by the instructions on the letter.  Congratulations!!

To make a really good case for the expedition, I suggest adding copies of a red bank account if you have any. Also, do remember to write a cover letter explaining all your evidence. Hope this helps

Has anyone had any recent success (in 2018) of expediting their EAD ? And could they tell me how they did it?? 
 
I have a current job offer contract for a start date of mid July 2018. My AOS / EAD cases were sent to USCIS in April 2018. 
 
Can anyone provide advice (I need to cite financial hardship, right?) or a template for how I should expedite this?? 
 
Any risks I should be aware of??

My husband had no documentation and needed everything and was given all of them at his exam.  It was only three injections as many are combos and he aged out of some. 
 
That said it was expensive.  If you have low cost options available, definitely explore that, but make sure they can give you acceptable documentation.  Usually your country's national vaccine card.
