    I'm really sorry this happened to you, that is a serious bummer and I can understand why you felt humiliated. I hope they can get their act together for you ASAP.

    An L2 officer is an Immigration Officer---someone who can actually view your personal file/case and give you real-time information on it, any letters that have been sent out from them, view your documents submitted, etc.
     
    The people who answer the help line are just customer service reps who really can't give you any other information than what is available on the USCIS website itself.  They are there more for just general questions.

    Am sorry that you missed your oath ceremony and hoping that you receive a mail with the nearest date for the same.

    Did she ever call you?
     
    I would phone USCIS and request to speak to an L2 officer and see if they can do anything to help you...when you called USCIS the first time, did you speak to an L2 or just the regular customer service person?
