An amazing capture of the intensity, agony, helplessness, loss of life; there are so many things that this photos capture. The thought of this being an everyday occurrence is inconceivable.
I have a lot to be thankful for.

I was thinking that we should make a thread about Casa and possible outcomes after the interviews along with that steps should be taken depending on the outcome such as contacting congressman ASAP if the petition is returned. I thought this might help people understand what happened at the interview and what if anything they should do afterwards.
I just don't want to see a member who is not that active and who isn't familiar with 221g's having their petition sent back and not knowing what to do or not acting fast enough to have it overturned.
Does anyone think this would be helpful?
We could share our experiences with each outsome, give timelines, who to call etc....
I think it's a great idea. Since Casa is notorious for throwing a curve ball. Even adding what information others have about the other ME/NA consulates would be helpful too, IMO.

Wishing you a very successful day tomorrow!
As always, we'll be here waiting to hear the good news.

English. She tried to talk to him in Arabic, but he felt sorry for her because she was having such a hard time with it, he told her, Why are you giving yourself such a hard time. Why don't you just talk to me in English. Her response was, Oh really? She seemed to be relieved.

Do you remember the Monday Night Football game with Joe Montana against the Broncos? That was the game of all games.

Tomorrow is the big day! I'm sending good thoughts your way! Go get 'em!!!!
We will all be waiting to hear the good news, so don't keep us waiting too long.

I know exactly what you're talking about. The two weeks (yes I know it was quick) of AP were the hardest. But it is so amazing when you finally get that call from him and he tells you he has good news!
You mean it gets harder?
Sigh...today is day 82 since mailing, 71 since NOA1. I know its well within a reasonable time, but
All of the steps are hard! But waiting out the AP, I'm doing a lot more nail biting. I think because the other steps have a more or less set timeline and you kind of know how long to expect between each step; it makes it more predictable. But looking at ALL of the varying times for AP for each individual case, there really is no predictable time line. At this point, any day could be the day. I can't overlook the fact that I may be saying that for the next few months!
I'm keeping the faith that it will be in this next week. In the meantime, I'm going to be doing a lot of this:
-
Just tell him to stay clear of Prospect Ave.
now tell her why
He/she may not make it out alive.
Take your pick: random bullets, carjackings, rape, murder, crack addicts-any of which is reason enough to not take a cruise down Prospect.
On a happier note, Westport is a must to frequent! It's like it's own little town of drinking establishments, night clubs and a great place to people watch!
Oh-and the Plaza. Definitely a must to visit too. Especially at Christmas time. It is decorated soooooooo beautifully. And it's a great place to go shopping.
KC is known as the City of Fountains as well. There are a lot of beautiful things there. Not to mention home of the KC Chiefs!!!!!!!!! Go Chiefs!
nowadays, westport is getting a reputation for a place the police visit quite often due to something going on there.
I should have put a disclaimer that I haven't lived there since 1994!
I'm sure a lot has changed. Does Prospect still have the same reputation?

That's where I go when I need a little alone time during working hours.
I need to find a place to go scream here at work. I think the only option available is to go to my car.
Why didn't I think of that before?

My cousin is moving to Kansas City. But I think in MO. What's up with that anyway?
ask him, he's the one moving
btw, kc is split by a river, if you're on the eastern side you're in missouri, on the western side you're in kansas
KCMO or KCK-I lived on both sides. Kansas City is a great city. I also lived in Manhattan, KS. Made many trips back and forth to see my now ex-husband. KCK is better IMO than the MO side. Just tell him to stay clear of Prospect Ave.

It's been 12 days since my fiance's interview and 7 days since he finally gave them the rest of the things that they wanted. They told him he will get the call in 1-2 weeks. Everytime the phone rings, I get all excited because it may be 'the call'. I want him here for Thanksgiving. This whole process is about waiting, then getting exicted about each step along the way-waiting for the NOA1, more waiting, RFE, more waiting, NOA2, more waiting, NVC, more waiting, Packet 3, more waiting, Interview, more waiting. And of course, that is only the first part of this process-we get to start it all again when he does eventually get here. Not that I have to reiterate this for all of you. We're all in the same boat.
Waiting for this call seems to be the hardest part so far. We are so close to being together again, but knowing how unpredictable Casa is, 'close' could be anywhere from a week to months.
I try to keep myself busy so I don't think about it. When I do think about it, it just drives me crazy!
I need to find a place to go scream here at work. I think the only option available is to go to my car.

Has anyone else noticed? The past few days in the ME/NA forum have been pretty tame! I wonder why?
Can we keep it this way?

I wish I could help! There are others here that are more familiar with this. They should be along shortly. They will probably want more details but that is up to you what you want to disclose. Keep your chin up!

Can't wait to hear the good news tomorrow!!!!
Let's start off this week of interviews with a BANG!

Oh Henia that is so beautiful.
Readjusting to being away from him must be so difficult after the amount of time that you spent together. As doodlebug said, give yourself time to mourn. It will be a sweet reunion when you all can finally be together. It will probably be sooner than you think. All of us ME/NA girls are here to help you occupy some of that time.
(((hugs)))

You Are From Neptune
You are dreamy and mystical, with a natural psychic ability.
You love music, poetry, dance, and (most of all) the open sea.
Your soul is filled with possibilities, and your heart overflows with compassion.
You can be in a room full of friendly people and feel all alone.
If you don't get carried away with one idea, your spiritual nature will see you through anything.

You Should Drive a Saturn Sky
You're sleek and smooth, and you need a car to match your hot persona.
Besides, sometimes you want your top up - and sometimes you want it down.

You're the glue that holds everyone together.

You Are Apple Cider

Just needing to let a little steam off here. It's been 13 days since the interview and 8 days since he turned in all of the additional info that they wanted. They said they would call him in 1-2 weeks. I called DOS. They have no information and they haven't received any request from Casa do run security checks. I emailed Casa. No response. I called Casa. Got a live person but she immediately transferred me to a recording which said to send an email.
