  1. Don't look too much into touching. It only means internal processing has been done on your case :)

If you have filed in Cal, then you will wait around 2-4 months for the application approval.. Thats when you will see most touches :)

  2. lol, it seems people with an NOA1 dated on the 13th are being left behind :(

I hope it doesn't mean our application has some red flags that takes longer :(

I dont get why some are incredibly fast, but others are taking their time...

(I know I shouldn't be complaining after VSC is still faster than anywhere else :()

  3. Ahhh, found this

The USCIS recently opened Case Status online letting customers with applications at a USCIS Service Center conveniently check the status of their case over the internet. As a next step in improving service customers can also call 1-800-375-5283 toll-free for automated case status assistance on Service Center filed cases. This new number replaces the toll numbers previously used on receipt notices (Service Center numbers). This system is an automated replacement of the Service Center automated case status system. Just follow the telephone menu directions.

    Still no update :(

  4. Fantastic - Congratulations :)

What was the number you called? All the contact information I can see is:

Before contacting the USCIS, we may be able to help you if you have a question about immigration procedures, or need clarification, by calling our National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283 (TTY 1-800-767-1833). This toll-free call center has additional information and, during their specified office hours, can connect you to live assistance in English and Spanish. The NCSC will be able to answer most questions - although they cannot provide information about the status of your case over the telephone.

I wonder if I may have got my NOA2 after recieving 2 successive touches in 2 days a week or so ago. It seems most people get an NOA2 notice (or an RFE) after 2 touches...

  5. Sorry to hear that :( But don't worry to much, you will get a letter documenting exactly what they need and Iam sure you can supply it. It may be something small like missing a signature or something.

Keep your head up and you will get your approval very soon
